I think it depends on what you are looking for. I buy at both Amazon and eBay and I find that I get better deals at eBay. I enjoy eBay more so I spend more time there. I like the idea of auctions, they are exciting. there are times that I find better deals on Amazon but that is mostly with books. In the end I think it really depends on which one you are more comfortable with.

I would have to agree with you 100% here.
I also buy at both, and have found that Amazon is better for books most the time. I really like the auctions too though!. I have bought a LOT more off eBay but a lot of that has been books for homeschooling which Amazon does not get as many of. I really enjoy just looking through the auction on eBay, but if I am looking for a particular book, I will usually go to Amazon because they have a better selection most the time.
Hope this helps ya!

It all depends on what you are looking for. I shop on both of them but ebay gets the majority of my business. I like Amazon for some items but they are generally higher priced. Ebay carries a lot of the items that you can not find every day so if you want rare or collectibles ebay is for sure the place to go.

Ebay is a very safe place to shop, as in real life you can now and then run into a dishonest seller but not often, they would get kicked off of ebay. Ebay will protect buyers as well as sellers. I have been buying and selling on ebay for many years and haven't had any problems. Look at the sellers ratings and feedback, that will tell you alot. I find that most people are very nice and honest to deal with. Look at the people here on mylot, we are from all over the world, mostly everyone is very nice to each other. Good luck on finding a phone. The best way for paying for something on ebay is with a paypal account. Its safe and secure for both buyers and sellers.

I am not sure of Amazon but yes EBAY is one of the best site I have come across to buy online and at many occassions I have got things pretty cheap as compared to market prices through EBAY.

Just wanted to add that one of the best feature of EBAY is seller rating. When we buy we can see what is the seller rating given by other buyers for him this can help us decide whether to buy from this seller or not. This is a positive part of EBAY.

First, you need to know that on eBay, people like you and me are the sellers. So before the price, you need to check if the seller is trustable or not. If you don't know how to do that, you just need to check how many sales they have and what is the percentage of approvals. You might wanna pick someone with more that 500 points and on average more than 95% of positive feedback. I personally have bought a few things on eBay, nothing too expensive. 100% of everything I bought got here perfectly, I've never had any problems. Also on ebay you can look for used stuff. It's def the best if you take care.
