How do you get your daily dose of whats going around in your area, world news etc? There are so many ways you can find out what's going on within the world with modern technology. Reading the newspaper, I found that a lot of people enjoy sitting back just reading the paper, whereas others like myself, I like watching the news on the Tv (I get so much more from what's going on rather than reading a paper). Others enjoy their pc's and surf online for it. Some even enjoy all of them...Which do you prefer the most and why?

I find out whatever is going on by just reading my newspaper. I mean i wouldn't want to go on the internet in the morning because i still feel sleepy. At least when i read my newspaper i have a hot cup of tea on the table so i can sip :)
Anyways i don't really watch News TV. but sometimes i like listening to the news on the radio. Or maybe read the newspaper. That's about it :)

I really try to stay away from the TV news for the most part (except whatever I happen to hear while I'm sitting here typing, as other family members have whatever channel on they want to have in the background most of the day *laugh*) because too much of it is bad news, and I don't enjoy that. I like happy fun kinds of news stories, for the most part. I think that I get a lot of my news through Mylot now *laugh* TO be honest with you, since people post a lot of news here and it's harder for me to avoid it here, I find out a lot that I wouldn't have otherwise. And I think that that is a good thing. ^_^

I agree, some people do post some really good topics with some news in it. As to the news, you are so right about that it could be bad, but my thing is I want to know when someone is going to harm us...I want to be in the know...lol

I watch Tv news or listen to the radio. I usually find out alot of stuff through my clients on what's going on in Town. We don't have anything here that tells us whats going on.
I have to find out through the grapevine.

Yes, plus you get to see clips of whatever they are talking about and don't have to deal with the speed of your pc to load it (speaking the internet :)

my boyfriend is more into reading the newspaper while sipping a cup of hot coffee in his favorite coffee shop. he does this almost everyday. as for me, i usually get news from the television. sometimes, i do learn new things and events through the internet. but it's the least source of events for me.

Mostly I use TV and Internet. Most of the time I am in the internet, so I make it a point to check the news during that time.

I hear that, I normally watch the news in the mornings before work and when I come home...Even though I have the internet at work, I never look at a online paper unless it's something interesting, otherwise, I just wait til i get home....thank you for responding

The newspapers, at least I know in my area the papers are so HUGE, I can look on tv at the most important things that's going on and I'm happy...Or at least feel like I got the most important information from local and world news..

I enjoy all of them. I read the paper when I wake up in the morning, read the online news to see what's happening around the globe, and watch the late news on the television while relaxing after a long day.

I don't usually use the internet to keep up to date with current affairs unless there's a story i'm paticularly interested in. I usually watch the news at least once a day and read 2 newspapers. I think its really important to know whats going on around the world.

Since I am most in front of the computer then i got my daily doze of news from my PC. I don't have much time for newspaper anymore and much less in reading it. Since nobody distribute newspaper on our house during morning it become an obsolete part of our daily lives.
Sometimes I watch TV in the internet the streaming one it shows news in our locality and i can also get a doze of international news through the internet. But i still miss the old news delivery in TV.

I usually get the new one of two ways. I always watch the news on tv or else I see it on my homepage of my internet connection. The best way is on tv though. I usually use the newspaper for looking up yard sales, or whatever is in the rest of the classifieds. I enjoy the personal stories too.

Normally i get the latest news on the tv or on the internet,it´s very rare for me to buy a newspaper and read it.Nowadays we have all the information and news that we need on the internet and for that i mostly use the internet for news and everything else.
