Infinity is NOT the proper term to use for it. Instead, mathematics called it UNDEFINED. Infinity, whether positive or negative, has mathematical definition. But this equation has none.

Agree. The answer is undefined. You cannot divide by zero.

According to the rules of math you cannot divide by 0 since zero is devoid of value. Thank you!

Please view the rules as set by mathmatics. You will see that you CANNOT divide anything by zero since simple mathmatics dictates 12 divided by 2 = 6 BECAUSE 6*2=12 So 12 divided by 0 = X but since 0* NOTHING can be 12 since anytime you multiply by 0 the answer is always 0 never 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, etc...
Thank you and please see the link!!

The answer is a very large number and is infinite.
The number we divide 1 by is 0.
Lets divide 1 by different numebers and see what happens.
Divide by 4 and get .25
Divide by 2 and get .5
Divide by 1 and get 1
Divide by .5 and get 2
Divide by .25 and get 4
Divide by .2 and get 5
Divide by .1 and get 10
Divide by .000000001 and get 1,000,000,000
We note that the number underneath decreases the answer increases. So when the number underneath decreses to 0 the answer has to increse to infinity.

Anything divided by 0 is infinite or indeterminate.
x/0 = infinite where x is anything.
This is the general rule in maths. So stick to it.
Better rate the answers if right.
