I started watching my weight before my wedding because I wanted to fit into my beautiful gown, but after the wedding i gained a few pounds back! My job requires me to be in front of a computer at a desk all day so i don't get much exercise. And by the time i get home from work i'm too exhausted to exercise. I need to change my habits though and start watching my weight again!

Awww, you look so beautiful! :) Congratulations!! Denise Austin introduced me to "fidgetsize"...basically where you keep moving all day, even if you're sitting (do leg lifts, suck in your tummy, or twist). At fist I thought, "why bother-" but after my baby was born that's all I ever did while I was brushing my teeth, getting ready, etc. and now I lost almost all of the 70 pounds. Who would have thought? :)

I don't know if it's on her website or not. I record her Daily Workout on TV every day (not that I actually do them), but she's always saying,"Keep moving, you'll burn more, blah, blah, blah..." I just do leg lifts while I'm doing my hair or brushing my teeth or I'll do some twists while I'm watching T.V. or sitting at my computer. I'm actually pretty lazy. :) Check her site though- not sure what it is though. Good luck!

Ofcourse all the members of the family watch weight every week. We have purchased a weighing scale and this helps us to monitor our weight. I am maintaing at 75kgs for the last 3 years and my wife's weight varies now and then. My son, slightly obese also maintains at 60 with regular exercises.

I watch my weight. I go to the gym. I switch between aerobic and weight lifting. I also go for walks but I can not control my eating. I am a real big snacker and it is killing everything i try to do .

ah yes, the snacking is what kills me too! so i try to keep my "snacks" limited to granola bars and yogurt! it's so hard to avoid that potato chip aisle at the grocery store though :-P

I try to watch my weight but sometimes the only thing I am doing is watching it going up. We do eat healthy meals though with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Also I do walk for exercise and the amount I do depends on where we are and what we are doing.

I use a combination of aerobic and weight bearing exercise. Even if it's the last thing I feel like doing, once I have finished and had a shower I feel ten years younger and more alive. I highly recommend it, there's nothing quite like it.

I know...I get in "funks" where I have no energy to work out. I know though that if I kick my butt into gear, I will have more energy to do it everyday.

Not like crazy - just keep off snacks and fatty foods, exercise now and then, walk when I can instead of riding, do my own work, stop eating before I am full..stuff like that really helps and does not make you obsessed with being slim and opting for diet cokes, low fat and salads all the time.

Of course I watch it go up and up and up lol. Then I drink water to try and flush the calories away. But, when I stayed in shape I ate fruits, veggies, no fried meat, and very little starches. My excericse was 20 minute work out or walking 5 miles aday.

20 mins vs 5 mile is a big difference. did you switch those every other day or whatever. or is that suppose to be a "and"???????

you're so lucky. I was like that until I got pregnant too, then I gained 75- and now I'm about 5 pounds away from being back to "normal" (8 months later).
