I like rice a lot more than bread. Maybe because of our asian origin.
I also like bread but I don't prefer it for example in a main course.
I most likely eat bread during breakfast and coffee breaks...

It depends on place you come from. Asian always prefer rice to any food. I come from Asia too and very fond of rice. And surely I can never imagine without rice single day. Now I stay in Germany where people are not so much eating rice but mostly bread and flesh. Rice as become a part of Asian food.

yes we still have RICE for lunch & dinner even if we are here in U.S. already. we eat bread usually in the morning or sometimes having sandwich for light meals or snacks only. we still prefer rice with other viands than with bread specially if we prepared chicken pork adobo ; kare-kare ; pinakbet ; ginataan ; sinigang & paksiw!

Being in Asia, I like bread and potatoes over rice. I will only eat rice if it's steamed rice. And will only eat with certain entrees like barbecue and Chinese food. Everyone else likes rice out here and I grew up liking bread.

I'd still prefer rice when it comes to lunch and dinner. But for snack time, I'd prefer bread. Breakfast is ok for bread or rice. Rice makes u full for a long hours while bread will just make u full for a couple of hours then you'll feel hungry.

I grew up in Asia but I'm one of the few that prefer bread or pasta or potatoes over rice. I'm just too picky with rice. I want it steamed not soft and sticky.

rice of course my friend! im asian too and i was trained and grew up to eat rice. social climbers eat bread, burger or french fries at malls and look of disdain is in their eyes seeing rice eaters, but when they get home, oh boy, they dont even have a good chair to sit on. if the americans like bread and butter, so be it! we have our rice and fish also!lol
