is LOVE a "mind game" or a "heart game"...???

this question might puzzle u a lil bit but let me make myself very clear in wat m i wanting to ask.
today we find max. number of teenagers roaming out with ppl of the opp gender whom thy call their byfriend/girlfriend and after sm days their love stories end up with fights and other stuff.
the boys roam out with girls to have sm pleasure.while the girls carry on coz of sm materialistic pleasure. and this pleausre is the thing which thy declare as "love".
but on the other side we see true lovers also who dedicate everything to the persn thy love without any hopes of receivein nyting in return.
so wat do u feeel of love these days tht its just a mind game played for various kinda pleasure or it is still a game which is played by heart...??

for me, both are involve in this situation, because we can't love using the mind alone, we can't deside in our mind alone, right? sometimes what you think is not what you feel. if you can't handle the relationship it will go to limbo, using our mind and heart is the key for a long lasting relationship.

Hi cuteangel1987,When we fall in love, the reward or pleasure center in our brain gets activated, and starts firing every time we see our beloved or think about them and at the same time the part of our brain which is responsible for critical evaluations and judgments gets muted, explaining why the person we love, can literally do no wrong and why we idolize them. Love literally makes us or rather our brains go blind!!!
So love is a game of heart.

Hey thats quite true... I guess its not that simple with the Metro life ... one cannot exactly comit to someone so there comes the fling thing and as u say ur r quite right.... BUt there r lot of love stories that still centre around the heart hence.. I would still want love to be a heart game though its trunign into a mind game with each and every day

Its both. There area alot of tricks, traps, bonuses and penalties to dating and love when looked at in one way. These "games" are usually defenses or selective processes to evaluate a mate (some of it conscious the other parts of it subconscious). The conscious part of the game involves people talking about their beliefs and what they want in the relationship, a crucial step. The subconscious part can involve beliefs, some societal programming, and hidden traits of evolution/survival.

yes it has restricted to just mind game. but for me its still a heart game , because i love only one, she is not there with me any more, but still i love her..
