Well not sure what you classify as a classic but here are some older movies that I do enjoy:
Arsenic and Old Lace
Father Goose
Time of Their Lives
Harvey
Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Cat Ballou
Brigadoon
Kiss Me Kate
Calamity Jane
Oklahoma
Music Man
Singing in the Rain
The Pirate
The Crimson Pirate
Ok well that's about enough for now. As you can see I like some older movies. I hope you enjoy these as well.

If you like comedy, try Bringing Up Baby. If you like mystery or suspence try The Maltese Falcon, if you want to see a film noir, try Murder My Sweet and Double Indemnity. If you like musicals, try An American in Paris and Singing in the Rain. And for drama, try Casablanca and All About Eve. By the way Marilyn is in All About Eve.

I enjoy old movies too. One of my favorites is Barefoot in the Park with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda. Boy was he gorgeous! I also like the movie A Summer Place (I think Sandra Dee is in that one). Last night we watched an old movie caleld The Collector (1965) starring Terrence Stamp.

Some of my favourites are...
The Great Escape with Steve McQueen
The Battle of Britain with Michael Caine
IKE with Robert Duvall
The African Queen with Humphrey Bogart
The Time Machine
There is a remake of The Time Machine which is also very good and more up to date with our time.

What a great subject! I love the older classic movies. One of my favorites is Bonnie and Clyde with Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway. I agree with Emerald that Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and Clamity Jane are also great. Here are a few more:
Any Shriley Temple Movie, but especially Captain January, Heidi, and Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.
Rooster Cogburn and the Lady
South Pacific
I could add many many more, but I think you have quite a few to get you started. Enjoy and eat lots of popcorn.
