how long did it take you to get preganant??

I think it probaby varies by person. With my first son it was several months. My next two were pretty much instantly. I think within a year and if a person can't conceive, then maybe it's time to talk to a doctor.

It really just depends. It is more easier for some than others. When I was ready to have a baby, it took us 3 months until I got pregnant. Also the girl has to be ovulating (that happens around 7 days after the first day of her last period and only lasts around 3 days). You can buy ovulation tests at department stores which will help you to know when you are ovulating.

It took me 2 months. I was on birth control(the pill) for about a year. After I stopped taking it it took us 2 months. It was frustrating because I thought I couldn't get pregnant.

it took 5mths with our son.we have just startted ttc#2, with no success this month. The average is 1yr, it has to be the right time of the month & the right "surroundings inside" for lack of betetr word!

It all depends on a lot of things. Are you trying, therefore timing it right? The only planned pregnancy I have had happend the first month we tried.

it took me 7 months to get pregnant with my son. we are now trying again and so far its taken 3 months. we are hopeing its not going to take 7 months again. im hopeing that i am pregnant now, but i cant test for a few more weeks.

Well, I got pregnant with both of mine while I was on the pill!! The first one wasn't planned, but we are so blessed to have her and the second one we were going to wait until she turned 18 months then I was going to get off the pill. Well the second was born when my first one was 18 months!! So I didn't get to plan and wait to see if I can get pregnant!

-O- how I wish that were true! With my first one, we got preg. on the first try because I was doing natural family planning and it just worked :) I thought it would be just as easy as we are trying for our second & needless to say we've been trying since the end of Sept. and we still aren't preg. -of course- there are some obstacles here and there like my husbands kidney stones.. but, it's definately taking us longer than two weeks & ona discussion board one of my friends told me that a couple with normal fertility in their 20's have a 20% chance of concieving each cycle.. so the odds aren't that great. But, I hope that it works for you that fast :)

It took me less than a week to get pregnant with my son. I think we decided it was three days or something based on the dates. I know we were still on our honeymoon. But we've been trying now since August to get pregnant again. I think I may finally be pregnant now, though. I'm going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow or Thursday to find out for sure.

I say about 3 months on the average its actually about 6 months. They say after a year of actively trying to concieve and if you dont succeed that you should consult with your doctor. It only took my two shots to get my daughter yet it took me almost 8 months to get my son. This baby was just an oooops so I cant tell you how long it took.

I went off the pill after being on it for 3 years. It took me 9 months to get pregnant. I was starting to think I was sterile.

Took me about 2 weeks too! I had just gotten off the pill and wasnt expecting to get pregnant right away. I thought I had at least a couple months. Boy was I wrong!

I went off the pill at the end of Dec 06 and found out I was pregnant January 17th 07. I was really suprised too because I was on the pill for 11 years.

I;m not really sure because my pregnancy came as a surprise. For our second attempt we waited a few months but I still won't get pregnant, so we quit trying and we'll just wait for the next baby to be conceived.

mine was an unwanted pregnancy. i got pregnent just one month after my marriage. how long it takes depends on the hormonal system of the body. anyways keep trying.

i got pregnant after my third regular period ( i had amenorrhea for more than a year). and i'm very thankful to my ob-gyne for helping me regulate my period or else i won't be having a very adorable baby boy!

It took us 3 months before I get pregnant. Two months after I gave birth I get pregnant again with our 2nd. Pretty fast huh?
