Can we accept gays and lesbian in our society?

Hi, thnx for a nice discussion here. Gays and lesbians are human being and a part of our society so there is no question of accepting or not. They are allready accepted in many countries and societies. Actually they are from minarity class of our society. They are not criminals at all. As a recent survey tells us that atlist 14 to 16 % of male had enjoyed the gaylove in life. We should help in get them employement and guidences.

Yes of course we can and should. They are human just like everybody else. I have many gay friends and they are extremely nice people.

Yes, why not. There are good gays and good lesbians, they are human being like us and they are part of our society. I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be accepted.

I do not see why not. I think they are humans just like the rest of us and it should not matter who they prefer to be with to determine their place in our society.

i accept them yes , why should nt i?why do some people think they are so much better than others. i am open minded and encourage my children to be also . predjudice is narrowminded and ignorant.

I cannot except them. I feel it is completely wrong however I do not discriminate I just choose not to associate. Further I am sick of them being so offending while in public, gays need to tone down their beliefs a bit and get a life.

for me the answer is yes.why not, its their choice what they want to become as long as not become a criminal.i have few friends thats gay and i like hang out with them, because i think they are fun and more sincere in friendship

It's not like we have any choice. Everyone is free to live as they please

My dear friend, whenever you are starting a discussion, please do add your own view in the topic of your intrest. Well my opinion in this subject is, This kind of behaveir is a psycological disorder, these people do this kind of blunder through innosence or because of some infiriority complex or when they are unable to think properly. We in our part should support & bring them out of this habit/trac to a normal behavior. And to deside their destiny or fate or acceptance and throwing them away from our society. If one has a spare time he should render a social servise to these kind of features. I wish. Unless & untill they are agressive and don't hurt other normal persons we need not intrupt them.

Of course! Just becuase they have other prffernces doesn't mean we can treat them badly, or behave worst to them. They are people just like every body else, and they have feelings just like me and you. I think that the government should punish the people who treat them bad.

I can accept it simply because they are people just like everyone else. They choose who they want to be with, just as we choose who we want to be with. I have several gay friends and they are better friends than my straight friends.

I say we can as soon as people get over there fear of what they don't understand or won't take the time to try and see the other side of the story . I believe this will take a long time as some people are too quick to judge others . But eventually I do believe this will be something that is accepted . It is something that some of the churches are begining to accept so with some time others will follow . I don't feel that we should have the right to judge others for something that they have chosen to do especially if it in no way affects our lives , and as this doesn't , I am not sure what the problem with people is . If you found out today that someone you were very close with was gay or a lesbian they would still be the same person they were yesterday . There preference for who they like really shouldn't make that big of a difference in your life .

I do really accept them actually I have close friends who are guys and some friend who are lesbian. They are like us but the only thing they become different is that they have problems with thier sexuality and instead of critizing them I try to understand them I know it's hard for them to be on that situation.

of course...theire aslo a human....its not theire fault to be a homosexual....it depends of what they are doing...i have also a lesbian sister...and im very proud of her....she is a good person...

Yes we have to accept gays and lesbians though as a Christian it is not an act that I can approve of though I do accept the person. It is the act that I cannot approve of though I do like the people.

i think we must let gays and lesiban in your society becuase they have right and they are human beings i donot know why people discrimante with gays and vice versa

you ask can we accept the gays - he guess what - you have too and they are all around you - even worse - you might be one of them?! how could I though well let me ask you this - don't you think it is gay when someone asks a question pertaining to gay people? I mean why the worry or concern unless you have something to hide or worry about or lose out on like freedom. something to think about eh? So I would be more worried about if you, meaning I, internal thinking here ok?, are a homosexual rather than worry or think about who is or isnt around me and if we should all accept them cause you know what it does not matter anymore who is or isnt accepted cause we are all here on earth anyway - unless of course there is a shuttle taking people to another location planet we have not heard about - please let me know if there is a shuttle going to space.

on my opion, I can accept it . It's not their mistake, it is caused by sociaty, every one have the right to love .no matter famale or male.and also ,I think if we accept them , they will not have so much stress.
