Would you jump off a bridge to impress your date? (I hope not, but this guy did)

I would do just about anything for love, I admit it, but I wouldn't go this far, lol! I was just reading a story about a guy who tried to impress his date on their second outing by jumping off of a bridge. He ended up falling 20-30 feet into the water, and the police had to come and rescue him. He ended up being charged with disorderly conduct, and not only that - the woman told police that there would not be a third date.
I can't say that I blame her, lol!
Would you have done something this wacky to impress a date? What is the craziest thing that you've ever done for love? Feel free to share your stories, or just give your thoughts about what this guy did! You can read the full news story by clicking the link below:

Thats true. The story is pretty funny in itself, but stupid if you consider what the heck was this guy thinking?

LOL, young love! No I can't say I would jump off a bridge. I can't say I would do anything like that. I have worn really uncomfortable clothes and shoes to impress a date. Which always back fires cause the whole time I am not hearing a word he is saying, instead I am thinking "Man these things are killing my feet" or "I don't think I am getting enough air, maybe if I just undo the top button". LOL

=P...He's so bad luck . Anyway, it's only a 2nd date. It really seem wacky. There are thousand of ways to show his love...and he's chosen the worst. But I really hope he 'll get better luck for his next date after this experience. Anything over limit all goes bad even with a good initial purpose. Thanks for the interesting post...

Ok some people just simply try to hard to be someone they are not . Was he trying to kill himself ? I wouldn't do anything crazy or stupid like that to impress anyone for any reason . The best way to impress someone is to be yourself , if they like you the way you are they always will and if they don't ,it was never meant to be .

That is insane! What kind of loony man would jump off a bridge to impress his date?
Oh! That man obviously! What was he thinking? How did he think that would impress her?
Personally, if a person does not like me on a date, I see no reason to do something I would regret to get another date. What he did was just plain stupid. And it is a good thing she knows now before taking the relationship any further!!!

Haha! That is insane!!! :D
I bet she is glad that she did find out now, before it even got to the third day.
He was probably just a waste of her time!! Haha. That is funny though. I bet she will be telling the story about him on her other dates! I know I would!!!! :D Ha

I think its just very stupid because whats the point of doing that. That only will happen in the movie. It should not happen in the real life. you see, whats the point risking your life over something that stupid. Maybe there wont be thid date because the girl think that guy like this is stupid and not smart enough and guy like this cannot protect the girl.

When it comes to love, I'm a big sucker. He can take me to the cleaners and back - get everything he possibly can out of me. I think the word "doormat" is across my forehead.
As for jumping off a bridge, I say what I did when I was pregnant.
My boyfriend (at the time) wanted to shove me down some stairs (very very scared of the fact he was going to be a dad & thank goodness we were never actually near stairs), and I told him, "Sure, go ahead! Only if you go first though." If someone wanted to me jump off a bridge to prove my love, I'll do it if they're crazy enough to go first. Even then, they go first and I can just walk away =D

It is ridiculous to do anything just to impress your date, will you do anything to impress your mother or will you do anything for your mother. If yes then go on think about doing what your date says. But if you don't do anything you mother says, then don't even think about doing anything for your date. This is nonsense just doing anything for a date even not knowing what will happen in the future. So be sure what you are doing. And do what is good for you and others.

That guy must have been out of his mind. I love my girl but I wouldn't be able to do such thing just for her. After all, if I love her that much it certainly means that I want to be together with her in life for as long as possible and not trust we'll be happier in after life.
