I love Comfortably Numb. I get a thrill each time I see them play it on Live 8. Not my fav song, but still brilliant.

The Wall is excellent. Comfortably Numb is a great song to listen to on the way home from work. It takes you away from work mode and into where you should be, free of stress. Another time to appreciate Comfortably Numb is when you've got the flu. It may not cure it but it helps you get through it.

Comfortably Numb is quite possibly one of my favourite Floyd songs, aside from Shine On You Crazy Diamond. My daddy used to sing Comfortably Numb to me to get me to go to sleep when I was a little girl...

Definately their best song. Although the lyric is specifically about a band member, it resonates on a personal level for so many people there must be something there... and the guitar is just soooo good. The only thing I don't like is that when playing live they always follow it with Run Like Hell, which is also a great song but not the show-stopper Numb is. If only I had more respect for Roger Waters...(sigh)

Comfortably Numb is a brilliant song and I think everybody who loves rock has to love this song. If you see how many times it is covered by also famous bands (many!), this song is big and will still be covered for a while..
