Plain concrete is made by mixing cement,fine aggregate(sand),coarse agregate(bajri or gravel),and water.Therefore
there is a recent trend to add admixtures to improve certain properties of concrete.
When reinforcing steel is placed in the forms and fresh concrete mix is placed around it,the solidified mass is called reinforced concrete.
The properties of concrete depend on several factors such as properties and relative proportions of the ingradients, temperature and humidity under which it is placed and cured.

Are there any other elements that can improve the properties of concrete? As an Artist, I work with concrete often, and it seems that concrete can be aestically limiting. Just looking for different ways to making my concrete art more apppealing.
