Do you follow fashion???

are you particular about the suit you wear? if your skirt matches your top, whether your socks match your shoes? do you buy the sandals that are "in" fashion? or that knee length skirt that was shown in that fashion show?
are you a fashion follower- one who follows fashion and wears what suits him
or a fashion victim- one who "blindly" follows fashion and carries stuff which may or may not suit him!
i am a fashion designer by profession, i create fashion.. do you follow it??

Trends vary season to season and by location (city, state, country). The designers and retailer buyers are in kahoots together. They pretty much mandate what trends those we in the industry call "fashion slaves" will be wearing.
It's kind of funny though to read some people who answer that they don't follow fashion b/c wether they realize it or not they ARE actually following a set fashion trend (ie - goth or preppy) by some of the looks they choose to wear. It may not be the latest trend in their area or social circle but it's still following a fashion trend.

Not at all. I follow my own sense of fashion. Designers' dress are ridiculously expensive whereas I can buy more stylish dress that suits my personality and taste at a low, low cost. I always go for sale. if I see a good style with good material on sale I get them if I have a budget. I guess that's the real score here LOL! It's just I can't afford those fashions shown in the magazine. Just kidding! But seriously, I'm not a blind victim of the fashion industry. See the picture in my photo? I was the one who designed it. :D

Well, I normally just wear what I think looks good on me and I do not really care if it is fashinable enough or not.

Sometimes id go for fashion; coz im a ramp model. as long as the dress is best for me.

this is good for you because you are a model, there are a lot of variety showing fashion, but everybody can't do this, because some people are poorer in our society still.

I am particular about what i wear and whether it is well coordinated but i am not a fashion victim. I like to follow the latest trends if they are affordable and wearble and most importantly if they suit me. I will not starve myself to fit into a skimpy top that is supposed to be the latest in fashion. I like to keep up with the latest trend but most of the time i just like to be me. I follw my own style ! It is more interesting to look at people with their own style statement.

Sometimes...It has to really really catch my eye...The most with fashion If followed would be my shoes..I love shoes, I'm a shoe-o-holic...
Clothes, sometimes but nowhere as near as often as shoes...

no i never follow fashion, this is too expenses, everybody can't bare fashion, only richh people follow fashion.

Not particularly, I wear what I want to wear weither it is in style or not, now i do match colors and things like that, I just don't mimic what is seen on the runways.
