It's not about a certain age .. we all see "grown up" people with the mentality and behavior of a little kid ..
When did you feel that you are no longer a kid .. when you moved out? graduated? first real job? when you got married? when you had your first kid?Or was it when your father or mother died? when you had a certain painful experience?, etc
I know we all carry the child inside us but when did you start to take everything seriously and consider your self as a grown up?

I never felt I had grasped the grown up thing until I had the responsibilty of another human being. I think anyone who has children and are raising them are grown up. no matter their age, when you have that reponsibility and are actually doing the raising you have no choice but to gorw up and make good decisions for you and the baby.

I was a withdrawn, insecure person. I think I finally decided I was a grown up when I was in the hospital having my 2nd child. I still wasn't model-thin, or model-gorgeous, or able to be all of the things those tv moms could be and do...but I decided I must be a grown up now and quit worrying about it!

i think you can tell that you are grown up if you are mature enough, independent, emotionally stable, and we know already what is right and wrong. you can be grown up by th problems you encounter it will helps you to become a grown up person. and it makes you stronger than before.

it when the time when we're mature and responsible enough for our own selves and actions. when we could make the right decisions and stand for it.
strictly speaking, growing up is a continuous process since we learn everyday in different ways. so even we're still kids or adults, we're still growing up. the learning would never stop

So far i don't feel that i have grown up.. when i think of my age i feel surprised, I haven't changed much from the inside since i was 20 or so, and I wasn't really a grown up back then :)

The first time I thought I had grown up was when I was renting an apartment with my friends for the first time and after a few weeks of being there i went and phoned up the electricity and gas supplier and got a home phone sorted out. That made me feel so responsible and grown up. I started working at a very young age so that did not really have any effect on me. And both my mother and father are still alive.

As the old saying goes, we all grow older, but growing up is optional. And another one to consider is, do you stop having fun because you are older or are you old because you stopped having fun? The only advice I have is keep life in perspective and never be afraid to laugh at yourself.
