Magick and Witchcraft is very much alive in this day and age. Myself and many others practice in day to day lives. There is no threat, the majority of us are peaceful mother earth loving people.
It's best to choose your own path to witchcraft, there are many useful sites on the internet in which to get more knowledge on the subject.

Really do you practice witchcraft? Cool. You were right it depends on your purpose in witchcraft. Do you have any website you recommend that I can browse with this matter. I want to know more about it.

Do be careful in what you read and don't take all of it seriously, get some books on the subject and talk to people and see what is best path for you to follow! blessed be, im a witch and a belif is my life style. I believe practicing my craft certainly helps many people, including, but not only myself.

If you believe in it then there is power in it. If you send out bad vibes then that is all you are going to get back. Magic and witchcraft aren't things that you just decide to get into one day; usually people have an attraction to it from an early age. Especially if they have a gift. As far as it being a threat, as I said, the only time it I can see it being a threat is when it is used for the wrong reasons. Even then, nature has a way of fixing itself meaning if you set out to do harm, that will come back on you threefold.

i don't, its just a superstition and magic only exists in fairy tales.
in Catholic teachings, it goes against the 1st commandment:I AM THE LORD YOUR GOD, THOU SHALL NOT HAVE OTHER STRANGE GODS BEFORE ME. idolizing images or material things is against god's will.

Hmmm... I don't know what to say, but do all magic users have their gods of their own? And if they do I think they violate the first commandment (if they are christians) but if not.. may be that's the reason why they are having different gods.

I do believe in witchcraft. I know a lot of witches to live everywhere. Because I myself sometimes practice witchcraft. But doing or practicing witchcraft requires a lot of concentrations. And we must always remember that whatever we do... there's a certain karma that will eventually comes back to us. It's either a good karma or a bad one.

Magic & witchcraft is very much present in this world, due to some misconceptions wiccan & witches often hide themselves to prevent arguements about religion. It can help us depending on how we use it because witches believe in the law of three where everything you do will come back to you three times. Moreover, if a witch casts a spell to hurt someone, she'll get hurt in return too, that's the threat part. I'm not yet knowledgeable in witchcraft but I know for sure that in any religion if you do something bad to others it's considered a sin.
