Did you stop eating oreos when you knew about the trans fat?

Oreos are a luxury for us as they have to be imported into this country and that makes the price go up. So we don't buy them that often and when we do we try to make them last. We will continue to buy them though as they taste good and they're a real treat for us.
I checked on wikipedia and it says that they've stopped using hydrogenated oils in the classic Oreos since January 2006. They can't say the same of the other varieties.

There's a lot of dangerous processed food ont he market today ( aspartame, MSG, high fructose corn syrup, etc..) but hydrogenated oils are by far one of the worst culprits. I don't eat anything that contains a cooked oil or hydrogenated trans fats, it inhibits metabolism and suppressed proper thyroid function... Their like plastic fats, they also clog your arteries severely, especially if you already eat a lot of meat and saturated fat.

I don't remember the last time I ate oreos. I am used to my mother's and my grandmother's homemade cookies, so why would I want to eat store bought ones? No thank you, I'll take home baked over store bought every single time.
