this is a good practice eveytime you are out treasure hunting, COVER YOUR HOLES! :) Remember if someone was digging in your yard, you would want them to cover up their holes, right?
Why cover your holes, because if you dig in parks etc. You will want to make sure you cover these holes back up and keep the treasure for yourself. It's just respectful and it keeps the image of people with metal detecting good.
This way it keeps the people that own the parks, etc. happy and not kick you off of their property.

I quite didn't understod what you want to say! However i think you are reffering to kids, cause adult people don`t do any Treasure Hunting! BTW How old are you ? This thing is for kids and no one want's anybody to dig in his/her yard so take care!

It is very good advice to try and leave the area looking as if you never dug there in the first place...
This is sound advice for campers and fishermen and women, too!
Thank, tiggyann!

I think that sounds like a good idea. It wouldn't be nice if someone falls on that hole.

It's not just neighborly, it is a safety issue also. Especially in a park or play area, if someone fell because of your hole and hurt themselves, that would be terrible.

I think that it is common courtesy. You have raised a valid suggestion!

I think you are doing right, cover the holes and take some considerations for others..But I don't usually dig holes in public places... and I believe that there is not treasure in our place... If I know there is a good fortune under ground, I would not hestitate to dig a hole in a public place, but I will cover the hole in the end.

I agree with you and this also alpplies to people who let their dogs run amuck on one yard and public grounds. I just don't see this type of respect anymore. If one can not respect the enviroment around them how can they expect to respect themselves? I like you discussion.

Before you dig you should probably get the proper permission first and I agree as with anything clean up your mess if you dug a hole fill it in someone could get seriously hurt if you do not respect others as you do the things you enjoy you should always remember safety first in everything you do its just good practice.Do you get permission before digging?

that is a good idea that we should have to protect others.cuz in this world i think a bit people want to help some one and have good feeling for everyone but in every one has not feelings like that.so good thought.
