I actually envy women that enjoyed being pregnant. My 2 pregnancies were complicated with morning sickness and a host of other things. A splitting headache everyday for 3 months straight, throwing up everyday, sinus infections, bronchitis, (cough, leak urine) and then 36 hours of labor the first time, followed by a c-section. Part of my problem could have been my selfish husband (now ex...lol) I love being a Mom though, it's the greatest privelage I've ever had in life, even raising teeangers now! :)

My best friend hated me because we ended up being pregnant together. I never had one problem or complaint and she always did!! lol But our babies are our lives.

for the first 5 months i was so sick. i was vomiting at least 5 times a day and wasn't eating cause everything made me sick. i lost 15 punds the first 3 months. anyway i was also really tired and in bed most of the time. after my 5th month i started feeling better and started to really enjoy it but then i gave birth at 6 months. so right when i was starting to love it it was over. i'd love to experience it again.

I LOVED being pregnant even with my third child and all the complications that came with it..I love the morning sickness LOL I love the cravings the back ache the sore legs the crankiness I loved every minute of being pregnant! I even loved giving birth, the actual delivery and the discomfort that follows for days after the delivery is over etc..the sore boobs when your milk comes in LOL I love it all! and I wish I could go through it again but my husband doesnt want any more kids :(

I was very sick when I was pregnant, but I have to say even though I was.. I still enjoyed being pregnant--the whole journey was just absolutely amazing to have a life growing inside of you. Every time I would run to the bathroom, I would remember that it was for such a good cause & it didn't matter how sick I was.. I was giving life. I too loved everything about being pregnant,although-- I think I would be okay with out being so sick-- but, it's all worth it in the end.

I'm with you! I loved being pregnant. When I tell people this, they look at me like I am crazy. I didn't have complicated pregnancies, and I felt better than ever. I loved when my babies moved. My son was very active while in the womb. It was so much fun to feel him moving. We have 2 now, and their will probably be a third. I hope that one goes just as well.

i'm pregs right now, and while i love some of it, i could happily do without other things... I was sick for the first three months, and although i threw up almost every day i still managed to put on 20 pounds in the first 5 months... yuck.. i'm in my third trimester, and i will say the best part is feeling him move.. the worst part is feeling him move when i'm trying to sleep! i think i'm one of those women who tolerates pregnancy, but will adore being a mom. the baby is the prize for me, not the backache, headache, blood draws and morning sickness...

I have this discussion with friends all the time. They all seem to agree with you and most of the people who responded to your discussion but I'm the complete opposite. The whole joy of pregnancy bit just passed me right on by. I'm a very tiny girl and right from the beginnings being pregnant just sucked. My morning sickness consisted of throwing up everyday all day and it wasn't just for the first trimester, it was through the whole pregnancy ( all three of them ). I couldn't eat or even cook most of the foods I liked. I got big right away and even though I was small compared to most other people to myself I felt huge and awkward and sore all the time. I was lucky though.. all of my deliveries were super quick and of course having the children was so worth it all.. but I'd definatly think twice about doing it again..

I can't say I enjoyed being pregnant with my first son. I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia from 6 months and had to resign from work and spend the last 2 months basically confined to bed. I had extremely high blood pressure and stacked on 30kg of excess fluid that my body was retaining!! So instead of having a pregnant belly ... i just looked like i was terribly overweight.
Don't get me wrong - I loved becoming a mum and everything but health wise it just wasn't a good time for me.

I didn't really like being pregnant most of the time. I was sick pretty much the entire pregnancy. Everyday when I went to work I had to throw up from walking through the food court. That really sucked.
There were definitely positive things, too. I liked dreaming about my baby and what he would look like when we finally met. And I liked going shopping for all the baby things. I was definitely glad when he made his debut, though.

i think most women love that feeling of being someone who will be a medium to give birth to a new life. =)
As for me, I'd freak out if one day I found out that I was pregnant. LOL

I loved being pregnant with my 2nd child. It was the best thing ever. I cried when I went into labor 2 1/2 weeks early with him. I mean seriously sobbing on the phone to my husband b/c I had to go to the hospital.

Despite all the uncomfortable times, I loved being pregnant. Well, the last month was pretty tough, but I'd do it again if we were open to having another baby.
