I would buy dvds. And have. I don't think they should sell used clothing...things like that should be donated to used clothing places.

It is very rare that I buy anything on Ebay. I can usually find just as good a deal if not better at a department store that is having a super sale or a discount store.
I would rather be wearing new clothes than used ones.
My husband buys computer parts and such on Ebay and rarely has a problem.

Why buy it when you can do a great service to your community with Freecycle.org!!
We couldnt even work out what to spend our christmas shopping vouchers on because most things we can get for free!
We ended up blowing them on groceries!
haahaaahaa!

I don't have anything in particular that I like to buy on Ebay, but when I want something, I probably would check there first. I would sell anything that I can think of right down there.

I sell mostly my kids gently used clothing and toys. Occassionally I sell items that we no longer need in the house or mine and my husbands clothing. Undergarments NO WAY that's just nasty, but other clothing I don't see a problem w/. If people can't sell it on Ebay then there shouldn't be Garage/Yard Sales across the country either then! I am a little more watchy when it comes to the bigger priced items. I have bought digital cameras off there but I do check the feedback and reputation thoroughly before I purchase something big!

I check ebay first for all the things we are wanting to buy or we are shopping for, to see if it is a better buy or to get a ballpark estimate of what something is selling for. As for used clothes, I think it is okay to sell dresses, evening gowns, wedding attire, suits, etc. as long as they are still in like new condition. I wouldn't want to buy a used tshirt, unless it was a collectible or was valuable. I don't think there is much that ebay does not sell.

I buy pretty much anything from eBay, I've both bought and sold used clothes from there. I wash all the clothes I send before posting them, and I always wash the clothes I receive before I wear them for the first time. I think that it is no different to buying things from charity shops (which I'm also a big fan of!). As long as they look to be in good condition, I don't have a problem with it.
As for things they shouldn't sell, all the things I can think of, (humans, human parts, animals, anything illegal), eBay already have regulations against posting those things.

I can't imagine why you would object to used clothes being sold, for as long as we have had clothing there has been a trade in second hand clothing, and its a good area to practice re-use in. Of course its really important that the seller is honest in their description and makes sure the item is clean and in good repair, but I think most of my clothes apart from underwear are secondhand because I cannot afford to buy really good quality clothes new.
Apart from clothes, I buy knitting wool and craft supplies on ebay a lot, and also occasional household items. I think as long as you are very careful to ask any questions before bidding its a great way to shop

Oh, I disagree. I am hard to fit and I buy a lot of used clothes on ebay at great prices. I got a nearly new designer skirt set costing $175.00 new for only $15.00! I simply rewash or dry clean them as soon as I get them and they are ready to wear!
Also childrens and baby clothes are a real steal. Especially if yours outgrow or ruin there own quickly or you have very little money to buy brand new.

I have never bought anything on e bay. I cannot see why anyone would buy used clothes because the probability of the item being right for you has to be low. E bay should not sell anything which is alive or covered by the health and safety or food regulations

Whats wrong with selling used clothes? Its the same as shopping in op shops, and one persons trash is anothers treasure! I have bought and sold clothes on Ebay, new AND used. I have also bought Bon Jovi items, stationery, stickers, toys, dvds, cds and much more. I love Ebay!!!!! Aussies should check out OZtion too, an Aussie auction site similar to Ebay. Cheers!
