I'm makig gift baskets for my family, friends and coworkers. Here's a sample:
Valentine Bark
Any assortment of Valentine's candy can be used in this recipe with great results - message hearts, cream filled chocolate hearts and small cinnamon hearts.
1 pound white chocolate, semisweet chocolate, or milk chocolate
2 cups assorted Valentine's Day candy
Line a large jellyroll pan with parchment or wax paper and set aside.
Melt the chocolate in a large heavy saucepan over very low heat or in a microwave, stirring frequently until the chocolate is smooth and melted. Spread the melted chocolate evenly on the prepared pan. Sprinkle the candy evenly over the chocolate and press the candy into the chocolate to make sure it will not fall out later. Set aside the chocolate to cool.
Once the chocolate has set, break into small pieces. Store the bark in a tightly sealed container at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Wrap the candy in plastic wrap or brightly colored cellophane and tie into small bundles with bright ribbon for gift giving. Add a special tag or Valentine to each little bundle.
Makes about 1 1/2 pounds candy.

I think valentines day is a special day. Me and My husband try to get for a special dinner just the 2 of us. Nice little break from the four children. They have fun sending out valentines card. this reminds me I should help them get the cards ready.

I actually thought that Valentines' day is only for couples, only for those with boyfriends and girlfriends. But as I grow mature, I have realized that it's for anyone who has a loved one, may it be a friend or your family. If I have a boyfriend on Valentines', I will spend it with him but I also make it a point to spend time with my family also. They are all special to me. But it would also be nice to think that everyday can be a Valentines' day, right?

I love Valentines Day! I love my family everyday and I don't feel I need a day to say I LOVE YOU! I just love seeing people celebrating their love. I worked in a little gift shop a couple years back on Valentines Day, It was one of the best days of my life. I saw guys who were in a panic getting the last minutes gifts, the girls talking about what they BETTER be getting, and little kids so anxious to get something for their Nana's. It just felt so good being surrounded by all these people wanting to bring some joy and happiness to the ones they loved. Very touching.

its your choice of how to spend the day whether it is special day or ordinanry day but for us valentine is specail we sometimes stay at home but still can manage to xpress our true feelings of love to our family ,friends and love ones and also make the most of it, something like saying i love you which is always happening everyday, doing something unsual but special and memorable.

I think Valentine's Day is a special day because it is a day when lovers get to celebrate their love more with each other.

Oh yes Valentine's Day is supposed to be a special day and should be but a lot of people take it the wrong way and you do not have to do a lot to show your loved one that you love them, just by being there with them and sharing of a nice meal and enjoy each other company that is what Valentines Day is all about.

it is nice to share your feelings on valentines day, some people as they get older dont really celebrate birthdays as much or christmas time etc so this one time of year it is nice to give cards and gifts to the one you love and it is usually nice for the females more than males because its a girly type thing about love and feelings and sensitivity.

It's just another day to me also. I mean I might get some candy from my mother but other then that I don't think to much of it myself.
