Does the weather outside affect your mood and how you feel? I know it does for me. When it is sunny outside I usually feel great and am in such a great mood. When it rains for many days I get irritable.
I remember there was this one summer when I was taking classes at the university and it rained almost one whole month every day. I was in such a bad mood. Driving in the rain was very stressful in addition to taking the classes.
I was so glad when the rain ended.
What about you? Does the weather affect you?

I'm with you. I'm not a big winter fan. I really don't feel good in the winter. I think the cold affects my bones as well.

yes very much so,a thunder storm or a couple days of rain doesn't bother me. a week or two of rain or snow tends to put me in a blah mood.i think it is due to the fact that it puts a stop to all out door activites, and i am an out doors type of person.

Yes a whole lot. If it's too sunny outside, I feel lazy to go out. If it's raining and cold, I get sad and feel like I need a hug. It really depends though.

Yah it definitely does...but in my case its just opposite of what you said ...whenever it rains outside...i be soo happy and cheerful that most of the time i jump put of mu lawn and enjoy the rain water at its full ..but yah if its happens so as in case with you that for complete one month it goes on raning , then i would also be irritated....

Yes I too feel comfortable with sun warm on my back !
I feel gloomy dull and depressed if the weather is cloudy or raining. It maybe my mindset. But I like to get drenched in rain. But I being a student with my busy schedule cannot cope up with rain. I just like to be lying on bed when the weather is cloudy. I am sick of carrying umbrellas , I rarely do them.
But when it is sunny I feel fresh and vivid. I drives away all laziness and creates brightness all around. So I prefer sunny days !! Good Luck !!!

I'm like that too during the winter.
for the last few days it has been cold and rainy/misty and it makes me not want to leave the house. If I could, I would just stay in bed all day.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and we get a great deal of rain here and for a good portion of the year the skies are overcast. I remember a lot of people telling me when I moved here 8 years ago that depression is prevalent in the Pac nw because of the overcast skies. However, I have noticed that not until the recent snowstorm when me and the kids were in the house for 5 days that I was showing some signs of the cabin fever blues. I think to a certain extent it can affect your mood. In my case, I would say only occasionally.

That's good that it doesn't really affect you. Yeah, I have heard that about that part of the US. My uncle lives in Seattle and they were stuck in the house for a few days too - without electricity. yuck!

The weather definately affects me and my girls. Today is a lovely sunny day despite being a bit cold as its the middle of the winter. They both walked home from school without complaining and are in great moods. They were so good I let them play in the park for a while before we came back as it was so nice to be out in the fresh air.

The weather does not affect me. I'm an indoors person, so the weather doesn't control my feelings. The only exception (besides a hurricane or tornado threat...) is thunderstorms. I tend to get nervous because I worry that lightning might cause the power to go out or I might get struck by lightning.

The weather definitely affects my mood. When it's summer and nice and warm and it's sunny I'm in a great mood. I'm happy all the time. You can get out and do things. It's great. When it's winter and gloomy I get so depressed and tired.

yes the weather affects all of us, it affects moods as well. to me spring as the best as the flowers and their sweet fragrance v a very positive effect on the person. Oh, but i luv autumns, u know the orange rust colour spread all around, its really fascinating, i recall visiting a remote hill valley in karakoram mtns near Chinese border in october. believe u me i v never seen sauch a picturesque place in the whole world. still air, silence, no vehicle, meadows, small brooks and a medium river, snow in the backgr on hill tops and AUTUMN colours. i cant xpress myself thts really gr8.
All the depressions and sadness of inside just went away in moments i tell u.

It certainly does. THe winter blues hit me with full force. Actually there is a disorder called SAD ( seasonal affective disorder ) that might explain this. Mood variations are believe to be connected with light, rather than temperature so it can happen during the winter or summer, as long as there isn't much sunlight. Usually SAD sufferers experience mild depression during overcast weather. IT can get more serious but generally is mild
