I am in the UK. In Scotland to be precise and am on GMT.
Wondering what time zone everyone else is on.
Is everyone American or are there lots of different nationalities.
I'm new here and just sizing everyone up. Lol.
BTW its my birthday on Monday. THE BIG 23!!!! Woohoo! ***puts on party hat***

There is a suggestion that England and Scotland should be in different time zones, with England going to double summer time in summer, and BST in winter, while Scotland says on GMT in winter, and BST in summer, so that there is an hours difference between Scotland & England.
Main reason Scotland is against changing is that it means schoolkids will be going to school in the dark in winter.
At 9 am on the Winter Solstice it is pitch black in Aberdeen, but bright in London.

I'm on GMT in Dublin, so nope, definately not on US time. I find the time zones have an impact on whether my discussions get answered or lost in the shuffle. If you are new to Mylot you might want to experiment with when you post your discussions to see the difference in results.

I'm in Illinois, USA. I am on the Central Time Zone. There are many nationalities here. Many Indians from India and Phillipinos. Some from Australia and some from different countries in the UK. Happy late birthday. Mine is coming up on the first of March. I'll be 19.

Hi , Welcome to myLot.
I am in the United States myself, on CST (Central Standard). I have seen people here from a lot of different countries, China - India - USA - Philippines - Canada etc etc. That's one thing I like about doing this, getting to see and hear how other people live, and think.
oh ... and ... H A P P Y BIRTH-DAY!!
