I love finding new ways to use my bath stuff, it especially helps in justifying the cost to myself as I'm a full time student and it's really a huge splurge lol.
Bath melts are great because they can be used as melts, massage bars, or solid perfumes. They do melt really easily so it's better not to rub them straight on your skin but rub on your hands and then use your hands to massage it into your skin.
Bubble bars also work as soap or shampoo. It's a little tricky to get used to, like jellies hehe, but it can work you kind of need to dissolve it most of the way in your hand first and then use and make sure you rinse really well. I still need conditioner afterward for sure and I don't usually need it after Godiva so a seperate conditioner is probably a must.
Of course conditioners like Jungle and AC are great when used for shaving or diluted in a spray bottle as a leave in condtioner.
Body butters are also good for shaving but it will play hell with your blades so I usually do that right before I'm going to change the blades out. Buffy is the one I've tried like this but I imagine it would work the same for the others. Makes your legs super super soft :)
Also body butters can be used as melts but I would use very little and stick to things like soft touch that don't have gritties in them unless you like that sort of thing :)
Anyone else have some suggestions?

I use my Daddyo Shampoo and American Cream Conditioner as bubble bath and shower gel. Both work brilliantly. It's amazing what you can discover after the great shower gel cull. I used to use my shower gels as shampoos so I started to experiment when they were discontinued. They aren't great for creating bubbles but they make the water soft and fragrant.

Those two are still on my list to try :) I am very sad that I never got to try Skinny Dip in liquid form! I have the buttercream and love it but it is quite labor intensive :(

I missed out on Skinny Dip gel, too, but I've been meaning to try whipping my buttercreams and adding sugar to them to make scrubs.

I love the idea of making the buttercreams into scrubs! How much sugar do you add?

I use my Something Wicked bath melt as a solid perfume and dab it behind my ears and on my wrists. I love the scent and wish there were more products in that line.
I also use my Fever massage bar as a body moisturizer and solid perfume (my skin loves the rich cocoa butter in the winter).

I use my massage bars for massages, as all over body moisturizers, as perfume, and cut off bits to use as bath melts too! Snowcake is great for shaving too.

I keep bath bombs in my drawer to scent my clothes.
I have been using the little peice of jungle that I have to shave since I don't like it as a conditioner.

This isn't Lush, but I put scented wax tarts (I'm using soy ones now) to scent my underwear drawer.
I'm probably not going to use the wax ones since DH is crazy about the soy ones and doesn't like the scents of any of the wax tarts I have. He found out that the wax ones are "bad" for you, so he won't use them.

I like Lush as they have a good range of vegan products. Unfortunately they are a bit expensive for me. At the moment I just have their stuff to stop your hair being frizzy. It does work but at £6 for 4 treatments isn't something I can use every day.

You might want to try their Retread conditioner or Jungle solid conditioner. I use Retread as a leave in.
Oh, and if you are in the UK and you like bubble baths, I think the bubble bars that are from UK Lush are better, bigger, prettier. The North America Flosty Gritter is salmon pink. It's supposed to be really pink.

I agree with the UK products being more scented and colourful, which is rather unfair to us North Americans... why can't they make the same quality product over here?

I like to use my Tea Tree Water toner to prep my armpits before I use my Oxeo deo. I also put Silky Underwear dusting powder in the bath sometimes. My hubby shaves with his Soak and Float bar. I even use Dreamwash to shave with because it's not so hard on my razor blades. I used to use the Lush Lime Smoothie, but it's been disconned.

I use SU in my bath water too. I love how it smells, and I hope that the Cocoa butter in it helps soften my skin a bit.
I sometimes shave with Lush Lime Smoothie. It doesn't seem to mess up my blades.

I of course use my massage bars as melts, and I also use my soaps and shower gels in my laundry (especially sheets) to make it smell nice! To use the soaps, I melt a little piece of them in some water and pour it in.

the only alternative I have is I use massage bars as bath melts. I just cut or shave off a slice and pop it into the hot bath water. I've never tried to use shower gel as spoo or anything else. I just guess I'm conventional :)

I use Dusting Powders on my sheets before I go to bed.
I use Massage bars as melts and as lotion.
I use Soft Touch to keep my hair from staticking (rub some on my hands and then rub my hands over my hair)
I use lemony flutter on my feet.

That's a great idea about the dusting powders. I'm going to have to try that.

As an alternative to massage bars, I like to use Silky Underwear as a massage powder. Add a few silk scarves (use one as a blindfold) into the mix and it's a good time had by all.

I handwash my bras, and have been using lush soap to do so. Basically odds and ends, or soaps that I got in a gift pack that don't work well for me otherwise.
I have sensitive skin, and some detergents really bug me - especially when it comes to something that's that close and personal with your skin like a bra! So this way they smell nice (even soaps that I don't really want to have the smell on my skin - too strong or too floral for my taste - have a nice scent for that type of thing), and my sensitive skin doesn't have a problem with it.
I've also used little bits of massage bars as a bath melt. Just to amp up the scent and the moisture in the water, as in winter it's awfully dry.
Finally, I use a massage bar for a moisturizer/solid perfume sometimes. It's good to have on hand at work, and I adore the scent of it so much that it's a perfect combination!

I really like using the Flying Fox in my hair. The scent lasts for a long time, and my hair gets pretty soft.
If any of you have the old style fever bar that had the little red lips on them, that makes a decent lip color! I blend it in with some plain lip gloss.

I love the scent of flying fox too, but I need to use conditioner with it if I use it in my hair. Thank gods for Godiva :D it has just enough conditioner for me.

I wish I were as creative as all of you! The only thing I've been doing differently with Lush products is...I cut up the Dreamtime bath melt I had, put it in a plastic container, and have been using it some nights as a hand moisturizer (and also on my knees and elbows) before I go to bed. I'm not that fond of the scent, but it works nicely.
Aquamarina makes an excellent spot treatment. Better than Fresh Farmacy because you can put more on the spot (and it stays!).
Does anyone have any ideas for alternate uses for American Cream? I've tried mixing it with water and make a hair mist and scent my hair, but it doesn't really work on my hair for some reason...

I have turned bubble bars into shower gels by adding unscented shower gel to a crushed up & softened bubble bar.
I also just received a Little Gem gift and the box is the perfect size for keeping all of my headbands and hair clips in. I'm so glad I have it because my hair stuff was all over the place.

I hve ehard of people adding bath bombs and bubble bar slices to their washing, thought i've not done this myself, but i do often handwash my underwear using bubble bar slices, soaps and shower gels. I've also heard of people sprinkiling the dusting powders on their carpet before hoovering up (like shake'n'vac) so that their carpets smell nice.
I use the shower gels and jellies as shampoo all the time, and the jellies are good as bubble bath too. The solid shampoo bars can be used as shower gel/body wash all over your body.
