I love all types of food but particularly wraps and savoury pancakes.
My current favourite is chicken style strips in a spicy sauce wrapped in a pancake.

I love all types of food- that could be either a good thing or a bad thing! My favorite meal is simple: spaghetti with homemade sauce, meatballs, and garlic bread. We always got to pick our birthday dinner when we were growing up, and I picked this every single year for as long as my Mother can remember. To this day it's a tradition to have a spaghetti dinner on my birthday. It's one day where the carbs don't matter!
The recipe you posted is interesting; I printed it up so that I can try it. I love all kinds of wraps. I'm confused about something, though. Are the chicken style strips actually chicken? I didn't know that vegans ate chicken. I hate to sound ignorant, but I am just curious.

Vegans don't eat chicken, or any kind of meat for that matter. they also avoid eggs and all dairy products... most vegans don't eat honey. If it is derived from an animal source, they don't eat it. Also, people who eat fish are NOT vegetarian. They are pescatarian and there is a big difference. I only add this because, as a vegetarian (I'm a part-time vegan, but I'm pregnant so I've been eating dairy and eggs) I get overly annoyed when people say they are vegetarian, but they eat fish. Fish is meat! If you eat it you are not a vegetarian!
There are many, many fake meat products out there for vegetarians and vegans, everything from 'breakfast links' to 'burgers', corndogs, 'chicken nuggets', etc. I'm sure that's what she meant by 'chicken-style'

You are right Astromama Chicken Style Strips are indeed a vegan product not made from chicken at all.

I have a lot of favorite meals, but my most favorite at this moment is sushi (which I haven't had for a while). I love putting a lot of wasabi on it too.
I am also a huge fan of spicy sauces, like Frank's Red Hot. I love having it with chicken wraps or subs.

Buddha's Delight
This vegetarian dish is traditionally served on New Year's Day. For extra flavor, vegetarian stock can be used instead of mushroom soaking liquid.
Prep Time : 30min
Cook Time : 15min
Type of Prep : Stir-Fry
Cuisine : Chinese
Occasion : New Year's
INGREDIENTS:
4 dried Shiitake or Chinese black mushrooms
1/4 ounce dried lily buds
1 block firm tofu
4 ounces bamboo shoots
4 water chestnuts
1 cup mung bean sprouts
2 carrots
1 large parsnip
2 Napa cabbage leaves
4 ounces snow peas
1/4 cup canned gingko nuts
2 teaspoons minced ginger
Sauce:
1/4 cup reserved mushroom soaking liquid
2 teaspoons light soy sauce or vegetarian oyster sauce
2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon brown sugar
a few drops sesame oil
Other:
Oil for stir-frying
Salt, Accent or MSG to taste
PREPARATION:
In separate bowls, soak the mushrooms and dried lily buds in hot water for 20 to 30 minutes to soften. Squeeze out any excess liquid. Reserve the mushroom soaking liquid, straining it if necessary to remove any grit. Cut the mushroom caps in half if desired.
Drain the tofu and cut into bite-sized chunks.
Slice the bamboo shoots. Peel and finely chop the water chestnuts. Rinse and thoroughly drain the bean sprouts. Peel the carrots, cut in half, and cut lengthwise into thin strips. Peel the parsnip, cut in half lengthwise, and cut into thin strips. Shred the Napa cabbage leaves. String the snow peas and cut in half. Drain the gingko nuts. Mince the ginger.
Combine the reserved mushroom soaking liquid with the soy sauce or vegetarian oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, brown sugar and sesame oil. Set aside.
Heat the wok over medium-high to high heat. Add 2 tablespoons oil to the heated wok. Add the chopped tofu. Stir-fry until browned (about 2 minutes) and remove from the wok. Clean out the wok.
Add 2 tablespoons oil to the wok. Add the minced ginger and stir-fry until aromatic (about 30 seconds). Add the chopped parsnip and carrots. Stir-fry for 1 minute, and add the dried mushrooms and lily buds. Stir-fry for 1 minute, and add the water chestnuts, bamboo shoots and snow peas. Stir in the bean sprouts and gingko nuts. Add the tofu back into the wok.
Push the vegetables up to the side of the wok. Add the sauce in the middle. Bring to a boil. Cover, turn down the heat and let the vegetables simmer for 5 minutes. Taste and add salt or other seasonings as desired. Serve hot.

Recently I made a spicy red curry with fish, and wanted a refreshing counterpoint to serve with it. A recipe in the newest Joy of Cooking inspired this dish. I adapted it to fit my own preferences. I also taste tested it with a few neighbors who have learned that I want honest feedback, not just compliments for free treats. If you try this, please feel free to make suggestions that will help as I develop the recipe further.
Lime, Coconut, and Mango Salad
1 cup grated, sweetened coconut
1 English cucumber, seeded and grated
Grated zest and juice of 1 lime
1 jalapeno, minced
1 mango, cubed into 1/2 inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Mix all ingredients and chill for at least 30 minutes prior to serving. May be made a day ahead, although it is best when served within a few hours of serving. Other fruits may be used, such as papaya or melon.
Cook's notes:
Allow the grated cucumber to drain in a strainer (or on paper towels) if it is particularly juicy. I used the large holes on a box grater for the cucumber.
Use a microplane to zest the lime. Alternatively, use a regular vegetable peeler to remove the zest, then finely mince the strips.

I really do love to make curry dishes, chicken or shrimp is good. But I don't really care too much what is in it as long as it is spicy and flavorful.
I really like rice so I will have rice 90% of the time and potatoes the rest of the time.
Oh my, I just finished a big spagetti dinner and I am already starting to drowl thinking about curry.
I need more curry dishes. Mmmmmmm

My favorite meal would actually be from County Market, which is a local grocery store. For lunch, my friends and I go there, and I always get the same thing, which has become my favorite meal. I get mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and popcorn chicken. Why is it my favorite? Well first of all, it's all warm! Lol and the macaroni and cheese is the best that I have ever had. They make it perfectly! The mashed potatoes are also one of the best I've ever had. And the popcorn chicken is very tasty. So now I prefer to go to County Market for my meals!

My favorite meal would be something like this:
for starters, a steaming bowl of clam chowder or french onion soup
an appetizer of sauteed 3 kinds of mushrooms with lots of garlic
an entree of lobster thermidor or a rack of baked baby back ribs with sidings of coleslaw or greek salad
and to end the meal, a cup of creme brulee or good ole leche flan
What I like about this meal is its completeness and the goodness of its variety...Yum!!!

My favorite meal is my lasagna. I like the different textures and tastes of it. The creamy cheese, the spicy sauce, the Italian sausage. Goes great with homemade bread. I'm getting hungry just thinking about it.

I am so sorry, you are a vegan and all but I love chicken soup. I could eat it every day. With maybe something else for a change once in a while. At least in the winter.
In summer, it is chicken on the grill.

I like something similar. It is called a fajita. I will eat almost anything mexican or texmex. Notice I said almost anything, cause some things like tripe I can't take.
