Pomegranite juice..extremely healthy..
here are some of the benfits..
You will be simply amazed when you find out more information on antioxidant pomegranite juice health benefits! It contains ingredients such as polyphenol, ellagic acid, gallic acid and punicalagin. Blueberries also have similar properties and include such benefits also blue berries antioxidant berry juice memory.
In addition to improving your memory, antioxidants have several other benefits. Pomegranates are farmed and harvested in California, and with taking only one to two tablespoons a day, it can be an excellent insurance policy against the damaging effects of free-radical damage. Blueberry juice and antioxidant have similar properties as well.
Pomegranate has quickly become one of the most talked about health foods in the past year. Many readers wrote to us and asked about the health benefits of pomegranate juice. Not only is it popular among the health conscious crowd, we are surprised to see that pomegranate fruits are becoming widely used as hot trendy home decor in more and more home decorating television programs!
Preliminary evidence suggests that drinking concentrated pomegranate juice may reduce cholesterol. Israeli researchers, published a small clinical study in June 2004 in Clinical Nutrition, suggested that drinking a glass of pomegranate juice a day for one year reduced blood pressure (particularly systolic pressure) and slowed down LDL cholesterol (the bad cholesterol) oxidation.
Pomegranate fruits contain polyphenols, tannins and anthocyanins - all are beneficial antioxidants. Interestingly, pomegranate juice contains high levels of antioxidants - higher than most other fruit juices, red wine or green tea.
hope you too can get hooked lol

Pomegranate juice does seem to be a wonder drink from what I've heard. I like the taste too, the tartness has a nice bite.
Around the holidays, I get a pomegranate but it can be very messy extracting the juicy seeds.
I enjoy lots of different juices. One of my favorites is V8 Fusion peach mango. It tastes great and gives you a serving of fruit AND a serving of vegetables.

Banana and cherry mixed together its sounds orrible but tastes great, I also enjoy melon and vodka with no ice then again peach and vodka is very tasty but as a livenener pure lemon and vodka with lemon sorbet is superb [but can lead to very pain full ice cream headaches ,so beware!] I personally find pineapple a bit sweet but make you right on the grapefruit juice apple is for me an open invitation for hellish heartburn as a slightly different take on the o/j front try mandarin juice bit tricky to get hold of sometimes but is a tiny bit sharper than orange juice there are so many choices in this life !!!! enjoy............................

I've seen POM at the store, but haven't ever had pomegranate and didn't know if I'd like it. Guess I ought to try it anyway.
Does it taste good? Can you compare it to anything?
I've been drinking alot of grapefruit juice lately myself.

I can't say as I loke pomegranate at all .. I've tried to eat them several times and I even tried juicing them but that didn't work very well ..
And if I need to drink something for a whole year before it brings my blood pressure down .. I'd rather spend my money on something that would work faster and taste nicer ..
Brightly coloured fruits have some of the best anti-oxidants in them along with tomatoes and peppers (and peppers juice nicely) ..
Intersetingly the humble apple has the second highest levels of anitoxidants in them and also are one of the best detox fruits ..
The following are the top 20 fruits/beans and veggies for highest levels anti-oxidants according to the United States Department of Agriculture ..

Jie!! Hello! :) *hugs* Yes, I read that pomegranate juice is good for you. We have that too, at home. Along with wheat grass "xiao mai chao", cranberry juice, apple cider vinegar..basically everything that's healthy for you. My parents are big on health drinks, vitamin/mineral supplements/other supplements. lol I bet I can make my very own pharmaceutical cocktail to get high, if I'm desperate enough haha j/k

I like mango juice. It mixes well with all kinds of other juices or just by itself. I like to use juices when I am cooking roast chichen or stir fry veggies. Shrimp panfried in butter till they are crispy then transfered to a stirfry with a bit of mango juice and a little asian hot sauce is just out of this world.

I like the pomegranite fruit but have never tried the juice as it is very pricey in our area. My absolute favorite juice is half cranberry and half orange juice. If I develope those kind of health problems you can bet the pomegranite juice will be tried before the scary medicines they have out there. Thank you for the information.

I'm picky about juice.
I enjoy orange juice a great deal, and I don't think I'm able to choose a favorite. I'm very indecisive when it comes to favorites.
I also like organic grape juice (purple), pineapple, grapefruit, mango, cranberry, and raspberry. There are a few mixtures that I like as well. But it's basically a few of the above mentioned mixed together.
