Here in Denmark the law works pretty well, only problem is that you laws are very soft. The maximum punishment in Denmark (no matter if you kill 20 police officers and rape their wives) are 16 years, and you are you in 8 with good behavior.

I live in the US and have studied law. I never really thought the law equaled justice until I studied how the law works. The law is a rule set out to cover a specific incident that may occur, the law tries to cover all the bases and make it fair to everyone. It is difficult to make one law that is for every different situation, so instead it is a general occurance and the law states the punishment. Every situation is different and the law is a guide line to know who to bring to court and who to leave alone. I do not know Egyptian law, but I am sure it is the same way. Laws are very hard to make to cover everyone and everything. Someone will always feel left out, but the law made does try to deter the next person from doing the same wrong thing again.

to me justice is a hit and miss business. law and order and justice do not automatically go together in any country. some are worse than others.

Law does not mean equal to justice at all times. There are times when that doesn't even apply at all.
