I've been on SL 4 1/2 months and I love it. The beauty of it is that you can be anyone you want to be (or anything) and for people who need to escape reality for a while, it's a godsend. I've made quite a decent amount of money there so far, mainly from playing games, reading tarot cards and selling land. There's no limit to what you can do to make money on there, whether it be using a talent or skill you already have as I've done, or by creating objects in-world that can be sold to other players. I've even managed to meet someone on there who I am now partners with and we live on an island together. Plus I've made some great friends and am currently being considered to become a mentor, which means I will be working with new residents and helping them get started. If you haven't already done so, join and give it a try. It takes time to get used to, but there are many helpful people on there and plenty of places for new people to go. It's all a bit daunting at first, the place is so BIG, but you soon get used to it.

Yes I have visited this site and downloaded the game too. its a MMORPG i.e. Massively multiplayer online role playing game. You first need to download a client and create a username. Then u should connect to the server with this name. But the most facinating thing about this game is that, real money is involved. you dont pay for the client or the account. But you can earn by your activities online. This game has an ingame currency which can be exchanged for real cash once you have enough. You earn cash by selling you creative work in the game. you can buy a house, shop, cloths, decorations for your house etc. Recently IBM had bought an entire island in the game ans developed it for the users. ofcourse you need to pay for the property with the ingame currency. You can also by the ingame currency with real cash. Its really like your second life. You can roam the streets of the reel country. you can meet people make friends and have fun. Just be a little creative so that cash keeps flowing. I havent started playing the game yet, But will start once my exams are over. Happy second LIfe frens :)

Tip for when you first sign up for DON"T GAMBLE your money away, just like real life gambling is a scam, Don't just buy stuff have a look around for frebbies first alot of people in Second life will try and sell you something like a big box of whatever for 1 to 10 linden dollars and actually what they have done is collected a bunch of freebies and r now trying to sell em I you wan to stop looking new hunt down some of the free shapes and skin you don't want to look like you just walked in do you? hair is good to i warn you palying with the hair apearance silders often doen't look any good you might want to buy some cheap flexi hair. I followed a review of this website on TV. It is a parallel virtual world to ours, where you can add characters and you become the main character. I have not visited it but will do in the near future.
