Hi friends, I bet you have lots of family photo but do you keep your favourites in photo frames, with your loved ones in them and where do you mainly keep them as for myself I keep mine in my loung room, office and bedrooms do you do this and are they big photo frames or small I prefer the smaller version but hopefully soon I will have my parents wedding photo in a bigger photo frame very soon I think that this would be suitable what do you think??

I live in an apartment with a roommate, so the only place I keep any photographs is in my room. My windowsill has a mantle running along it, so on it I keep many photographs of family, friends, etc. My favorite photograph is one of my two younger sisters and I at my high school graduation. I keep this one on my nightstand :)

Kathy, it is hard to find a place anywhere in my house where I don't have photos. I have our wedding photo on the lounge room wall, surrounded by the wedding photos of my sons. On another section of the lounge room wall I have all my granchildren and above the TV on the wall, there is a family photo of us taken when our youngest was ten years old - about twenty years ago. Every available surface in taken up with, at a guess, more than 100 photos (possibly 200) in smaller frames. Yes, they are a headache to keep dusted! I believe photos change a cold house into a warm and friendly home. My one desire is to get a current family photo. I want one with us and the five boys, and another with all the families together. The problem is that our boys are spread in all directions, and we haven't ALL been together in the one place for many years. There is always one missing. I'm still hoping!

I have family pictures in every room except the baths ,I love to see them everywhere ,I have them on my nightstand ,on my sewing notions shelf ,hanging on my living room walls and on the shelfs in the dining room ... I even have them on my frig with magnets ..It makes me smile to see their faces even when they can't be with me ... I have large matching frames for the family pics, and so smaller ones for others and some aren't even in frames ... I think your parents will look great in a larger frame, nice with all their family around it too ...

I have a picture of each of my daughters at 3 months old in my living room and some studio shots of my eldest that I had done in my bedroom. I would like to get a more recent picture of them done for the wall, but I don't want too many of them around. I always have my current favourite pic of them on my computer.

I have one wall that I call my vacation wall. Every year I put up photos of the vacation we had before. Then I have a wall for my boys. From birth to each year they have been with me. Then I have a wall that I call my memory wall. There is where I hang pictures of my friends and family that have past on. Right in the middle of that wall is a picture of Jesus welcoming his people home. I also scrap book. I am a picture junkie.

Yeh family photo's are great, I keep mine basically in the lounge. I bet nearly everyone of us here at My Lot has some family photo's, whether they are in frames or tucked away in cupboards and drawers. When I moved from UK to Australia I left alot of my family photo's and other bits and pieces with a so called friend, to have them shipped over at a later date. When I phoned to ask her to ship them over (at my cost of course) she told me they were taking up too much room in her house so she threw them in the bin. I cannot tell you how furious I was, as these photo's cannot be replaced.

Yes i do have a lot of photos much of which are my family's photos. I usually keep most of them in albums which are kept in the living room. But frames are adorned with the most cherishable photos which could remind us of those happy moments. I change few frames but most of them be permanent. I have chosen living room because guests are seated in living room and so they would have something to talk always. But on otherside coming to most sensitive heart touching or heart warming photos are confined to my bed room. After all they are personal to me.

I have a ton of photos of my children. Most of them are in photo albums on the bookshelf. I have very few framed pictures of them. Most of the framed and put on my wall pictures around my house are scenic shots of the Kitlope that my bf took while he was out there working. I think it is one of the most gorgeous spots in the world. He's even got (or getting) rather one of them published in a book of Canadian Scenery.

All my photos are online so I can share them with my online friends and family. I don't keep hard copies anymore. Weird how the internet has taken over my life! LoL!

My daughter has banned me keeping photos of her in frames of when she was little - she says it's embarrassing! Although I do have a couple of nice ones in the lounge of her and one of my cats. The rest are in my bedroom where I can look at them in my own time. Years ago I used to display my photos on the wall like a huge collage and had lots of comments! I think keeping photos in frames on display is a personal choice and I don't think the size of the frame reflects anything but choice!
