What's your fallback chocolate fix?

You know, when you're really needing that chocolate fix, and you just have to have it - what do you reach for? Or go to the store for? Reese's peanut butter cups are the must have fix for me. Either that or aero bars.

I really like the dark chocolate ginger from Trader Joes. It satisfies my chocolate craving and it relaxes me at the same time. (I usually crave chocolate when I'm PMSing and the ginger helps my cramps.)

It truly is drool-worthy. I've seen chocolate-covered ginger in variety of natural food stores, so you might be able to find some if you have a health food store nearby.

Mint Meltaways. Those are the best. Once in a while I go for a peanut butter cup or a Symphony bar - but Mint Meltways always win out if the store I'm at has them.

There are several companies that make them... Fannie Mae, Russel Stover, um... I always see them in the fundraising books that coworkers bring in from their kids schools. I usually get the Russel Stover - I think they are called French Mints.

I don't think I know of those but they sound lovely. What company makes them, do you know?

For a proper chocolate fix it can only be Cadburys Dairy Milk. A big bar and a drink of tea and I'm happy.

ohh. british cadbury's is to die for. I am especially addicted to the orange chocolate that I get from britain. And I agree - chocolate and tea are the best combination!

Hot cocoa always makes me feel better and satisfies the choco cravings. When it's hot, though, I want Stewart's low fat Box of Chocolates Ice Cream, which I haven't had since I did my undergrad in New York. There are no Stewart's in Louisiana that I have found. Chocolate peanut-butter ice cream is good, too.

I'll make some hot chocolate with lots of cocoa or brownies or a healthy fudge.

I usually like chocolate and peanut butter anything, like Reese's cups or the peanutbutter kisses. If I'm at work, I'll hit the vending machine for a snickers bar (hey, it has peanuts!).

Yum, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are some of my favorites too, or a handful of M&Ms, or a Snickers bar... almost anything, really! Now that Easter is approaching, I should stock up on Cadbury creme eggs, because those are a delicious very sugary chocolate fix!

Nutella! I just put a thick layer of nutella on some toast and gobble it up. *drool!* Also, there's this brand of brownie mix called "No Pudge." It's low-fat brownie mix and all you need to add is 2/3 c. yogurt to it. Simple, easy, and deliciously fudgy! mmm.

When I spent 2 months in the UK I'd pop a Aero mint bar in my mouth and was relaxed, but unfortunately any kind of mint chocolate is just to hard to get here ;(
