If i had to choose between the two i would choose the radio with hesitation, although i do like tv and have a few shows i watch religiously, i couldn't live without music, its the soundtrack to all out lives and it fits in with any mood you are in, if you are feeling down you can listen to music and it can make you smile, if you are happy you can sing along and dance. Driving would be so boring if you didn't have a radio to listen to. A party is not a party without music. Without radio i would be lost.

lol I agree with the boring driving without music part especially. Also with the party part.
The thing is that i listen to the radio all the time at home...when i am eating alone, or taking a shower, etc.
Thanks for the post as always.

I enjoy listening to the radio rather than watching tv. With the radio it gives me the freedom to do other things. I enjoy music and talk radio and can take the radio anywhere. The tv I have to sit in front of and I can't cook or go outside or doing anything else because it's not as mobile.

you are right in one thing...radio is better for multitasking, whereas tv is way more absorbing...that permits you listening to the radio almost all day long.

I love watching tv! To me its kind of a way to escape and relax for a while. I dont think my tv has even been turned off for about 4 days...lol. I dont listen to the radio much, I usually listen to music on my computer while I surf.

many people turn on tv when they're at home just to hear the noise of it...to have company even if they're not watching it...so you not switching it off in 4 straight days is not that surprising really. thanks for the post :)

I think I enjoy the TV more than the radio. I watch more TV than listen to the radio. Seems the only time I listen to the radio is when I am in the car. But I watch a lot more TV.

It really depends what I'm doing. I wake up with the radio so I can hear the local news. I also listen to the radio in the car as I can hardly watch tv! I like some of the discussion programs on there.
I have considered getting rid of my TV as I think most of it is just rubbish, but I use it for company once my kids are in bed.

I also use the radio more than TV but well there are still a few programs (plus sports) that i like to watch so i wouldn't get rid of it....even though half of the programs nowadays are junk lol.

I absolutely say TV. I can't stand radio anymore...it is all talk and no music. If I want music, my TV (well, sattelite) has sirius stations! I also enjoy the visual appeal that a TV brings.

I'm more of a radio guy than a couch potato. =) I'd rather listen to some music than watch some TV shows. I have always preferred audio over visuals. =)

Probably the TV for me as I enjoy having the visual aspect of seeing things ... and if i just wanted to hear it like on a radio i could just close my eyes! *laughs*

lol you visual thing sassy. As i said in another post here, most of my friends prefer TV to the radio...i think society nowadays is basically visual....what you cannot see is practically invisible, and i am not sure if that is a good, or a bad thing, but i think that it is anyway.
But my father and i are pro radio guys lol.
ty for the post.

I Prefer Tv BECAUSE
Knowledge building.
Collabarative and project work.
Increasing equity of participation.
Cross-cultural participation.
Maximising the knowledge and experience of all participants.
Students can study at far away universities.
Study field of student's choice.
Study at own pace.
Final level of education much better.
Study process becomes non-discriminatory.
Access to virtually limitless resources.
Communication involved is almost instantaneous.
Individual attention from the part of their lecturer.
Cost less.
Distance Learning can offer migrant students.
These are the points I would look into If we regard Studies as Something worth doing :D
