If your in good health and pass the pre screening then donating blood is safe for your body. Your body automatically replaces all the red blood cells in 56 days. And remember that donation goes to saving lives.

Hell no! I hate being poke by a needle so why would I donate blood? Besides I am too skinny for it, lol. I think it is not advisable for me.
Thanks!

hi
Ya I like donating blood, I feel it is very divine bu thinking whom my blood will be transferd and under what circumstances? My blood may save some ones life, and that person will thank me forever even if he/she do not know me at all! I dont think donating blood has any adverse effect on body, so I will advice you all to try it atlest once in ur life!

i like to donate blood,it does not only help those in need of it but its also beneficial to me as regular blood donation replaces blood in your body and makes your bone marrow active in producing new blood cells.peace

I don't mind donating, it's just that I really don't enjoy it. I know it is very helpful to others, but it sure is a pain to me! I had to call a few days ago to get my number removed from their calling list, they just keep calling me.
I really wouldn't mind donating if I didn't black out every time I did. The last time I tried to donate, I was so nervous I caused my pulse rate to shoot up. They checked me a couple of times, but it was just too high for me to be able to donate.

I have never donated blood although I would like to. I recently got over a needle phobia so thats my main reason. Also I've had quiete a lot of blood tests in the past as i've suffered from anaemia and always feel weak and ill afterwards. I think it can affect your health as blood contains iron which is an essential mineral. Unless you have good iron levels I don't think its a good idea.

Ive never done it but i would certainly like to do it. I think it's something that we can do for our community. We give a bit of our blood that someone might need when their life is at risk.
I see it as an act of generosity and solidarity....i think i will finally do it this summer.
