I only have one sibling, a brother. He is three years older then me. We are best friends and have been since I was about 17. He and my husband are best friends also, so it works out well. My brother cooks for me at least one night a week, sometimes more if he is off. He helps with the kids, he will bathe them, put them to sleep, help with the homework. I feel truly blessed to have a brother like him!

You are very lucky to have such a generous brother. I am very close to my sister as well and I'm sure if we lived closer to each other , she would do these things for me also and vice versa. Actually not that long ago my kids were arguing and I asked my sister if she wanted to take them cause they were driving me crazy. LOL, she didn't even ask what they were doing just said YES! lol

I have one brother. He is 10 1/2 months older than me. We are very close.
My husband on the other hand has 1 real sister. 1 half sister, 2 half brother's and 1 step sister and 1 step brother. Their ages range from 24 down to 7 so it is hard to have a close relationship with the younger ones. It makes for a fun family but I don't think they have the same relationship as I have with my brother.

Hi quispy, you are lucky in deed to have a great brother like him! I have a brother who I rarely speak to, we were both adopted from different families and brought into the same one and I always wonder whether we don't get on together is because of this. I have recently found out in the last few weeks that I have a 'true' sister who is two years older than me, I'm currently trying to track her down at the moment, so fingers crossed!

You are lucky to have a close relationship with your siblings. I am sorry to say I do not. I wish I did because I have a illness now that is not curable. I think you always need your Family but in the bad times when you are sick you need them the most.
