MyLot Question, Nothing To Do With Ratings, Money, Scores, Or Anything Like That

Dear Readers, and I do hope that the administrators of MyLot are some of my "Dear Readers"; perhaps there is a feature that allows for what I am about to ask, but if there is I cannot find it anywhere.
Is there some way that a member can travel through many pages of a discussion after making a reply to a comment, let's say on the first comment on the third page, without having to back out all the way to the first page and then go back into the third page again to get to the next comment?
This may not be a problem for everyone, but I have a really slow computer and it takes me quite a bit of time to give decent replies to each and everyone who has the kindness to respond to my discussions. At this point, when I see that I have many responses, all I am doing is going in and giving each person a positive response for at least taking the time to read my quesstion and answer it.
Thank you in advance, for any information or education you can give me on this ~Donna

Hope you find a solution to this, Donna.
It is a problem for me too. Since I do most of my posting at night or during the wee hours, a lot of times my replies end up on page 7 or even farther back than that. That makes it tough to continue a discussion after the initial reply.

Yeah I usually just have multiple tabs open. The new Internet Explorer has tabs and so does Firefox. If you have tabs just keep 4-5 different mylot tabs going. If you don't have tabs then just open different pages in new windows and flip between them. That wat you can reply while other stuff is loading.

I think alot of your responders have given the answer I would have said and that is to open it in a different window. I try and answer all my responders too, but you can't always do that especially with lots of responses. So I always leave a comment on the first page under the first comment thanking everyone for posting and that I do read each and everyone! Everyone who then goes back to your discussion will then be able to read this. I do also make comments on individual statements that I feel strongly about but half the time people don't come back to read what I've said so it's a pointless exercise sometimes!

It is a right pain in the butt!! myLot do have an avenue open for recommendations and have in the past acted fairly quickly to implement a few of them! Good question and hopefully it leads to a "quick view" key or similar! Another thing is that this site is not real quick most of the time. I feel for the people using dial-up!

I agree it's very annoying! You would think they would load the MOST RECENT first wouldn't you?

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to this either. I find it very slow as well as I have a fast connection. Hopefully someone at mylot reads all the discussions and will take this on board and change the way the site works.

To answer your question, if ther is a way, i have not yet seen it. i think that instead of going back to the first page after you reply, your browser should go to the page your reply shows up on.
Also, i had to tell you, your number of posts is currently on one of the "sacred" numbers...333

thats a nice observation i do find it too slow ..but i have a strategy for that and it really is effective..why not try opening or signing in 3 times?? i did that and i find it convenient and fast...but as for your suggestions if there is anyway then maybe ..just address this concerned of yours to our mylot admin...they maybe can solve it...

I think mylot earns everytime we open a fresh page and thus its a source of revenue generation. I don't any such feature would soon be there on mylot.
