What's the most touching song you ever heard ?

Definitely "The Living Years" by Mike and the Mechanics. I cry everytime I listen to it. My reason because my daughter and I are are estranged. I was lucky enough to get a new CD of it from EBay as my old tape was almost worn out.

Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers. and, NO, it's not becuase of the movie "Ghost"! LOL This has always been a wonderful song to me. It was played at my first wedding. WE are divorced now, but that is a long story...I still have a place for him in my heart and always will. When I hear this song, I melt. I don't know...I just find it so beautiful. Even after me and my ex split up and I am now remarried, this song still is my favorite!

There are so many beautiful songs, I don't think I could come up with just one. 'My Way' by Sinatra comes to mind. I don't know why I like that song; I think it's because it speaks of maturity--of a person accepting responsibility for his or her mistakes in life. It's a very deep message that leaves me with tears in my eyes, not from sadness but from the shear beauty of the song. Weird.

The most touching song I have ever heard (and almost instantly made me teary-eyed) was that song by James Ingarm, "There's No Easy Way". I dunno, it just touched my heart for some reason. =/

The song that I would pick as a really touching song is 'Sometimes it snows in April' by Prince and apparantly featured in a film, not sure which one!(It's on one of his albums) It's a lovely song and for some reason reminds me of my dad! I don't hear it very often as I don't think it was released as a single, but when I do put it on the cd player it always brings a tear to my eye!

Father and Son by Cat Stevens, because it tells me that life must go on

*Hold me in your arms(Southern Sons)-I love this song, its so simple and its just about being love. *Broken VOw(Lara fabian)-i think this is the best break up song ever!Its one of the saddest song i have ever heard *Iris(Goo Goo Dolls)-now this is a romantic song, i love the lyrics coz there's so mcuh passion in it.
