The last time you went shopping for clothing , how much did you spend?? The last time me and my daughter went shopping for school clothes we spent about 175.00 which was not alot but we went to alot of thrift store. She loves vintage clothes and thrift stores is the best place to find them.

We get almost all of our clothing from church rummage sales. We go to enough of them that that we get a good variety to choose from. Usually those sales have bag sales and we pay 1 to 3 dollars a bag. Much better than stores. We also have a free clothing bank that I can go and get other types of clothing if need be. Since our fire we qualify for help that way. They turn no one away though! We have not spend more that 10 dollars at any one sale and often around 4 or 5 dollar tops. Daughter is pleased and son doesn't really care!

Agreed, however, church rummage sales can be even more economical!! Glad you have that resource for the family.

The last time I went shopping was a couple weeks ago. I need some clothes for a trip I'm taking in a little bit. I bought some dresses and a sihrt. I spent about $300 and I got 3 dresses and a shirt. I thought it was pretty good. I had some good sales.

Last time I went out to buy clothes I bought -
6 thermal vests for my girls - £12
2 pairs of tights - £2.50
scarf - £1.50
so that was £16 altogether.
I don't really have a budget for clothes as my monthly income is so limited but I had to get some things as we were all so cold!

I actually didn't do too bad considering. I spent about 60 dollars in American Eagle and got a pair of pants and two shirts. I guess it just depends on what store you're going into. Alot of places, $60 wouldn't have bought you a pair of underwear!
