My Jungle Has Seeds In It....

Ok, this is really weird. I had a slice of jungle, and I was getting to the bottom of it. Once I started getting to the center, I started uncovering little seeds in it! They look like sesame seeds. I'm confused? Do I have a scary bar of jungle, or are they all like this? I've only ever tried this one bar, although I have two more stashed away.

I use a lot of jungle (it's one of my top 5 products), but I have never found any seeds in it. Draconess is right, there are lots of fruit in jungle, so maybe some seeds found their way into your batch. Maybe that's good luck :-)

It's been awhile since I used jungle, but I don't remember seeds O.o
I can see where they might come from so I wouldn't be too worried about it.
I will check the bar I have stashed when I get home to see if it has seeds in it lol.

Jungle does contain avocado, figs, bananas, passion fruit, and kumquat, so maybe they're just little fruit seeds? I haven't noticed anything in mine, but I only have a little sample piece...

I agree about calling customer service. If those seeds are not supposed to be there, customer service might want to know so that they can check up on it at a factory level. Other than it just being strange, I'm sure it will be fine as long as you use the product up pretty fast. I would try to pick them out as I use it though because I would worry about them getting left behind in my hair if there are a lot of them.

Hmm. I have used a couple of bars of Jungle and have never found seeds either. I would call CS and tell them. I've had mistake products sent to me before and they're good about replacing it.

I would, but the bar is essentially gone. The seeds were in the centerish.

If you feel weird about them replacing it, I'm sure you can tell them that you already used most of it and it seemed ok. They may just want to know that there was some problem or mistake. I had a container of Lemony Flutter that had sort of separated into one thick waxy layer and one soft creamy layer. I used it several times becuase I didn't know it was supposed to be different and I could just smush it together with my fingers. But I let SC know anyway and they were very interested in getting what remained back because to them it sounded like a problem with their emulsifier. They sent me a replacement and a free soap.

Stupid question: are you sure it's Jungle and not Miranda? Is your hair still getting nicely conditioned?

I had a huge sample chunk and SA cut for me... no seeds in mine. I didn't like it though so I haven't bought any more. I agree - any time you feel weird about something call CS - they are great.

Would they even if the bar is 3/4 gone? I mean I guess I wouldn't expect a new chunk, I just would call to let them know that it was a little weird.
Hey, I have a star next to my name now. What does that mean?

I've never found seeds in my Jungle, and I've had some fairly big bars. As everything is handmade, there are bound to be variations between one lot and the next! You should see my seanik bar! Its mostly green!
Maybe its the Lush fairy granting you wishes.
Or just a mistake.
Who knows!
