ladycalliope I think that there were some events on the island that convinced people they needed to stay, so the "Oceanic Six" lied and said that those people were dead. If there were only apparently six people left alive on the island, all of them would be rescued.

ladycalliope Season 1 is my favorite, and out of those episodes, Kanes and Abels has got to be the winner, if only for the "Private Eyes" scene. That is the single best TV moment I have ever witnessed.

ladycalliope I read that too. It's pretty clear that they won't all be able to go to Duke for college, though, so skipping the college years sounds like a pretty good plan.

ladycalliope I've read some of the other books... The Worthing Saga, all of the Ender/Shadow series, and the Women of Genesis series. That last set is biblical fiction, which I really got into a few years ago.
