With my first child I gain alot of weight so it took me a while to lose it b/c I had knee surgery while pregnant and couldn't do much since I wasn't healing properly. With my second child I wore my Pre pregnancy jeans the whole pregnancy and wore them home after my daughter was born. She is now 2 months and I weight less that when I got pregnant. I know Im very luicky and just wonder how often this happens? I know how hard it can be to lose since I had it both ways. What has been your experience?

I still have a lot of baby weight. I think it's going to take me a lot longer than I thought. I'm planning to join a gym soon, so hopefully that will help me out.
I think I'm having a hard time as well because I'm just not focused on losing the weight. But hopefully, after going to the gym, I'll be more energized. And focused.

Good on you. I never lost my baby weight and am now only trying to lose it (my son is 4 now).

You are very lucky. It doesn't happen very often at all. I exercised every day and watched what I ate. It all came off in 3 months. Most of it came off in 2-3 weeks after the birth though. I was those stubborn 5-7 lbs. that took forever.

I gained 50 pounds with both of my kids (I know I got huge-I was 120 to start) and with my first one I lost the weight in about 3-4 months. I wasn't exercising or anything, it just fell off...lucky me. Then with my second baby I lost everything except about 5-10 pounds. I don't like my belly because it isn't as toned as it once was, but I just started exercising every day to try and get in better shape.

I'm lazy, so about 15 months when he started to run fast and climb on everything-it's great exercise. But I gained over 60 pounds since I wasn't able to move during pregnancy (health problems) and have a hard time moving now due to health problems.

I was only pregnant for seven months. My daughter was 2 months early. I gained 45 pounds but it was mostly water. I was extremely swollen due to pre-eclampsia. 9 days post partum I was 5 pounds below my pre pregnancy weight. I lost 50 pounds in 9 days!! It was all water though, and all those bathroom runs were worth it I guess. I am now 8 months post partum and 35 pounds below pre pregnancy weight, but I was a bigger girl to start with.

I lost all but the last 10 lbs in the first couple months. My daughter is now 8 months and I'm finding that the last little bit of weight is starting to come off a little easier now. It was the same way with my son. It seems as though my body just wants to hang on to that last little bit of weight until this point. My sister is the same way. I now have just under 5 lbs to go! I can button up my pre-pregnancy jeans, but they are skin tight and uncomfortable.

it took me only a few months- my last baby was in december of 2002, and by the spring time I was back to my normal weight. Of course exercize helped, and I did slim fast.
I always lose weight in the spring and summer because I do alot of work outside in my garden. The key is to stay active!!

I didn't gain more than 20 lbs with either one of my kids, of coarse I was sick morning, noon, and night, throughout both pregnancies. But with my first child my stomach bounced back to it's normal state only a couple months later. And with my last who is now 2ys. I weighed less than I did when I got pregnant after only 3 months but my stomach now just bounces. Call it age (though I'm really not That old) or maybe its from the kids, but the skin just responding the same.

I guess you could say I was one of the lucky ones. When I was pregnant with all my kids I was smaller after having them then I was when I got pregnant. And the way it is looking with the one I am pregnant with now it will be the same way. I am already 8 months pregnant and have only gained 9 pounds.
