I did mine back in 2003 when a relative had to be operated. The hospital has a regulation that we need to have 3 bags of donor blood even though it's not compatible for our relative. It's like a trade-in. Trade-in your blood for compatible blood of your patient. Now, I can't give blood because I'm under medication for my vertigo and neurological illness.

As a matter of fact I just donated 250cc a couple of hours ago. It is not that painful but I am still feeling a little light headed. I don't know if Ill be able to go to class later. It is quite healthy to donate blood on a regular basis since it helps promote blood circulation plus it saves lives too!

I haven't had any chance of donating my blood. I am anemic and I know that it will be bad for my health to donate. But I really want to donate some of my blood, it will help a lot of people even if they are not my relatives.

I haven't really donated blood but I have been a recepient. I had lost a lot of blood in an accident before and I was tranfused with 2 packs. I'll be donating soon. When I get the chance to go to some blood drive or somthing. I heard it's really healthy since the blood lost would be replaced in our body.
