How do you make eggwash? What's the ingredients?

It's usually just egg yolk and 1 or 2 tablespoons of water. You may also just use the egg white (which won't give your food the color the egg yolk does) or a whole egg, along with water or milk.

You could make egg wash by using 1 egg and a dash of water or milk. Ususally people use egg wash to brush on top of something that is being baked. It's helps brown the thing.

Some people use just scrambled egg others I know add a touch of water to make it easier to brush on the food. I personally, use the water mixed in.

thanks bunnylady01 ... I just don't get it, they put it in recipe books but never explain further it's content or how to do it.
