Wat is the most you have spent on a piece of clothing, bag or shoes?

I bought a dress a year or two back and spent $400 on it. I'm so ashamed of spending that much and it was a lovely dress and I could have worn it again. But i haven't.

I bought a purse a few years ago at a high end store for $375.00. What was I thinking????

I think that bags are realy expensive but shoes too and probably we buy much more shoes. So I suppose that the most expensive piece of clothing (between shoes and bags) are shoes. Specially Italian and English shoes!

Probably the most expensive piece of clothing I've bought would be the maid of honor dress from my sisters wedding. It was about $200. I'm wedding dress shopping right now though, so pretty soon, that will be the most expensive thing i've bought.

The most I ever spent on clothing would of been for prom. Evening my wedding dress was borrowed. Which probably was a good thing since that marriage never lasted.

The most expensive item I brought was lovely designer handbag for $250, which I brought in Florida. Unfortunately I dropped it and broke it (It's made of wood) but I'm still glad I brought it as it's the most unique thing you've ever seen! I have brought a couple of pairs of boots for about £85 or $170 ish, but they are worth it as I still use them too!

well about 9 yrs ago my now husband bought my lace up thigh high stiletto boots for nearly $400...LOL he really liked those ;-) I still have them too actually but I've not worn them in yrs now...

The most expensive piece of accesory I had ever bought is a piece of gold bracelet which costs me 1350. The most expensive wardrobe that I ever purchased is a pair of traditional costume which costs me 170. That's all. I am not a rich person so I can't spend much money on branded items.

The most I have ever spent on a single piece of clothing was my suit I needed when I was going to a dinner with celeberties. I spend about $250 on it. Still have it and fits me nicely.

i bought a pair of running shoes worth $320. and i i've worn them for like a couple of times only. i splurged again. :(

My wedding dress was $600 and I was the maid of honor in my best friends wedding and the dress cost $450... Usually I try to buy on sale so I don't have to pay a high ticket price :(

I spent a nauseously amount on a pair of shoes, I'm to scared to even mention the amount, just in case my husband sees this:) The shoes were more than the dress,the gold chain and the gold watch altogether, ah darn it his going to work it out

I don't remember ever spending alot on anything. I ususally buy at clearance sales, coz I don't have alot of money to spend, so $20.00, is high for me. lol However, I have spent as much as $50.00 or $60.00 on a coat, and once I spent $45.00 on a pair of name brand tennis shoes.

you got me thinking here. haha! i need to pause for awhile just to think of this one. i don't usually spend much on things. i go for cheap clothes, shoes and bags. but there was this one bag i really love. i bought her 2 years ago. it costs about 1,000 pesos (around 20 US dollars). not much, huh? but the bags here in the philippines are usually priced at 200 to 600 pesos (around 4 to 12 US dollars equivalent).so, i did have lots of thoughts before getting that bag. and i got it! haha!

Umm I spent about 200 dollars for a suite for work. I used it for all of my interviews and it never let me down!!! I usualy would not spend that much on clothes, but it was worth it.

I spent 1,200 on a new tux last year.
