Hi kathy, hubby and I are planning a trip to Sydney in the near future as I am keen to do the Sydney Harbour Bridge walk, and as I have a fear of heights, this will be a huge challenge for me! lol Should be an interesting one though!

Do the bridge walk!!! It's absolutely fabulous...we were in a group that had 2 people that had extreme fear of heights...the guides were so great...and both participants said it was the best experience of their lives...I was scared but soooo glad I did it!!!

Hi Kathy, thats really nice of you to offer to be a tourist guide! At the moment I don't have any plans to come to Australia as the 24 hour flight from here is a bit daunting to me at the moment! Although I would love to visit Australia some day as a few of my friends have been over to see 'you' and they have nothing but praise for the country and its fellow countrymen (&women)! Rest assured if I ever visit Sydney then I will be sure to shout!

Kathy, You do live in a beautiful city that is one of my very favorites. I was blessed to visit there 2 years ago and it was the most memorable vacation I've ever had..We stayed by Darling Harbour and loved every single minute of it!! We did all the touristy things...the bridge climb which was on a perfectly sunny clear day ( almost all of them were)The view from up there is truly amazing!!! We walked all over the city and met some of the nicest people from all over the world. We were there to visit our son who was working on Superman Returns..the movie that was being filmed there..so we also had the exciting experience of seeing the actual filming and meeting the stars..the Fox studios are incredible...all in all we loved it and found the citizens of Sydney to be so welcoming and helpful..everyone was making sure we had a great time...I will be returning someday...for there is so much more to see and do...and I want to spend time on the Whitsunday? Islands and the sunshine coast..also would love to get around to Perth..Maybe we'll meet someday!!!

Actually Kathy I'm living in Sydney right now. I've moved here about 9 month back and the place has been nothing but adventure. I've been to as far as the blue mountains, Anna Bay and Nowra. The beaches here are amazing and captivating. I haven't really explored the city and the suburbs much maybe you can show me around.

I was born in Sydney but grew up in Holland. Two years ago I was able to visit Australia and get to know the place where I was born. It sure is a great city and we also did the Bridge Climb which was fantastic. You live in a beautiful city, kathy77.

Hi Kathy, Well in the year 2004 Dec, I was onboard a ship with my husband and our ship went to Australia, basically 4 ports we had visited. Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Alilaide. It was very nice , the harbour bridge, the Opera house and every thing. I have plenty of pics of the bridge and Opera house which I took from the ship only when the ship was approaching the coast......although our stay was not long and I didnot get time to go out in Melbourne and Sydney. Brisbane and Adilaide I have enjoyed a lot. But I would certainly visit again to Sydney and will keep the happy memories in my mind as I have for other places I had visted in the past.

No, I have never been to Australia, I haven't flown much to be honest, I am not a keen flier, the furthest I have been is Cyprus. I would love to visit New Zealand especially, and maybe stop off en route to Australia, I heard it is very vast and have only seen the country on television, but I know it has a lot to offer. Maybe one day when I can afford it I would like to travel further.
