What do you have on Apple Pie?

i love apple pie with ice cream vanilla flavor for topping! in our family we like the kinda hot apple pie slices in the cup then topped with a scooped of ice cream as dessert . . . it's really great that the little heat in the pie makes a slow melting in the ice cream & absorb some of the flavor to the apple filling . its fun with a hot & cold dessert :)

I love it with ice cream, whip cream (Cool WHip especially the french vanilla flavor) Oooohh I love caramel drizzled over it. IT is sooo good.

I love whipped cream or ice cream, or both on top of my apple pie!! Yum! The weird thing - I used to work as a waitress and we offered a piece of cheese melted on top of apple pie slices. People ordered it all of the time! I had never heard of such a thing before hand, but it was a big seller! People would ask for it constantly. We'd just take a regular old slice of American cheese and plop it on top of the pie slice. Pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to get it to melt and serve it up! I never tried it myself, but I was always curious as to what it tasted like!

I love vanilla ice cream on warm apple pie! But, my husband who doesn't like apple pie will only eat it with a slice of cheddar cheese on top which he learned from his friend who's from ND. But, I love apple crisp more. YUM!!!!

Usually ice cream, or custard, or evaporated milk, or maybe a combination two, depending on what i have in at the time, and what mood i'm in. It's also nice with squirty cream that you get out of a can on it - yum! I bought some baking apples the other day and so far i've not decided whether to make apple pie or crumble, let alone what i will have on it once it's made. Decisions, decisions, eh?

Defiantly have to have homemade vanilla ice cream with it. Does not have to literally be homemade, I have purchased ice cream that says homemade and it tastes really good.

I love it if the apple pie has walnuts in the filling, and top it off with ice cream. Nothing like a nice hot apple pie a la mode.

I love eating it by itself. I used to love having it with a scoop of cinnamon ice cream at a local restaurant. They make a great pair.

OMG! Apple Pie is soooo GOOD! I love it! I love when the crust has the cinnamon taste as well! I always put a scoop of vanilla Ice cream! Sometime if I do not have the ice cream I'll put some cool whip! Can you bring me some over? LOL!

I love whipped cream or ice cream. I have had american cheese which is awesome too.
