Why does EVERYONE seem to blog about "Making Money Online"?

It seems that when you come across a blog on the net, they must be talking about "HOW" to make money online.
If you dig on most of the people here on myLot who do have blogs, most of the blogs must be talking about, again, HOW to make money online. If someone has multiple blogs, seems like one of it must be talking about making money online. So the question (just a question), why is everyone seems to be blogging about this? Have the topics run out?

Hi..i'm new in here.. It's just my opinion that most of these people are doing some tactical marketing strategy. By telling/sharing with people the knowledge that they have, in return their affiliates will pay for their referral. But honestly, for me i like the idea of sharing successful stories and their methodology in doing that. I'm not a marketer but i'm trying to be one too, soon..

It's okay to share your "successful stories". But what if the "successful stories" are just something someone made up?

Who is "everyone?" I have three blogs and not one of them is about making money. But I don't promote them here. Probably a lot of other bloggers don't promote theirs here. Since this site is about making money, the balance is going to be toward the bloggers that are interested in ways of making money and in promoting their blogs on that subject.

OK, so this "everyone" that i meant here don't include you, unusualsuspect. I was just saying it in general. Of course NOT EVERYONE out there who owns a blog blogging about this, but it's just apparent to me that too many people here on mylot are promoting their blogs, and the blogs must be ABOUT making money online. Not that it's bad, or wrong, but the question came to my mind.

I think these people are just here for the MONEY, and I'm kind of irritated whenever I see this topics. They must belucky that mylot is tolerating them in posting this kind of discussions, to which I know that almost alot of them are scams. These people are just desperate to earn money, to which I think that some of them are stubborn. If they are looking to earn for big money, then they should leave their homes, look for a more decent job and work their a**es out for them to have what they do want to earn.
Or maybe others here just knows nothing, and posting PTP sites is the only thing they know.

*Sigh*. I still couldn't see that someone could really make big money or at least money to pay for their bills just by enrolling in some PTP sites, you know. I don't think it's very possible with PTP thingy.

How ironic that you are here making a little bit of money asking about people who blogs about making money online..
Everyone wants to know how to make money, unfortunately most people who try it are not self motivated, they are looking to get rich quick, etc. This is the biggest misconeption of making money online is they make it sound easy.
I have several websites, only one of them is my money making website, although I will probably expand. Is it easy? No. Was it quick? No. Do I write blogs about how to make money? No.
I do it because due to a back injury I could no longer work and be able to keep a full time job for any length of time, however SS doesn't see it that way, so they denied me. I do it because I have to, and it took a year and a half to bring it to a point where I am earning a significant amount. It requires that every day whether I want to or not, I have to sit and work, ready, learn, test, find out what is selling and what isn't, etc, etc, etc. I don't have an assembly line that puts my next project in front of me, I have to go find it myself. I don't have a boss that tells me when it is time to get to work, you have to force yourself sometimes to push forward, and sometimes it is very hard. You have to push forward. even after months of making nothing and you are so descouraged you want to lay in a ditch and die.
Would I like to write blogs about making money? Sure, I'd love to sell a book telling people how to succeed at affiliate marketing, but the truth is no one wants to hear how hard it is to figure it all out, and very few believe in the get rich quick and easy scemes, and likewise do not buy.
I had to add this post because I read a few that said it can't be done, or only a few have succeeded, etc. However, I have no blogs about making money online, I do not push money making schemes. I would love to teach people how to succeed, unfortunately one can only teach so much, after that the individual wanting to learn has to go out and cut a trail of their own. They will take the hits, but they have to get up and try again.
I would have to say that the reason why there are so many blogs about making money is two primary reasons, one people want to know how, and two, those who know how want to share it with others. The internet is a trillion dollar industry, and there are lots of opportunities to reach in a grab some of that money, but you have to learn how and learning is not an easy overnight journey.

I think that the main reason of these blogs is to attract referrals. Generally, the tips suggested on most of those blogs are trivial and directly entail from common sense.
The classical scheme is to write a blog entry about some trivial stuff, then to add a link at the end with a referrer Id. I stopped taking these blogs seriously, long time ago.

for the reason that other users want to earn extra money. also, for the reason of sharing some good things to other people. and last reason maybe to have lots and lots of referrals because these blog users who have making money online as one of the source of their extra income, it would really be best for them to put some links.

I think i prefer your first and last reason for an answer here. I don't think it holds true (much) for the second reason you stated there.

I think people are just getting tired of their real jobs and looking for a way to make money easier, faster, without leaving home. That's why so many people are trying to represent pay out sites which most of them just scam you becuase you can't make a living off sites that pay you. Sites like myLot are just for fun and you get alittle bit of money every once in awhile. But if you want to make money online myLot is the only site that I have found that will actualy pay you when you get minium but you can never make a living off the internet unless you program or are a web designer which that really isn't making money online it is your job not just making money online by doing offers or getting give aways. That's my thought on the whole subject that's why I think people are just trying to make money faster and easier and all in there own house.

I agree this is a hot topic nowadays because everybody wanto hike the bus of the Web 2.0, but I found this kind of sites have been flooooding around the blogspheare.
Most of them are more likely asking you to join their program and they themselves as a referal to earn some commisions from you.
I only read a few Quality 'money making' blogs, such as Problogger.net, JohnChow.com and recently Kumilosuzuki.blogspot,com... how about you?

I read a few posts on problogger and johnChow. But not always. Kudos to these two. These are the people who have really made big money out of blogging, NOT out of money-making schemes online.

What exactly is "good"?? If you didn't read my discussion, I asked a "why". And a "why" is supposed to be answered with reasonings/causes.

Lets face it we are all here to make money, after all we would not be here writing discussions, and getting paid for it. After all we all need extra money to live and pay bills, and buy the things we need and want. Unfortunatly with world needs money to get along, to buy food, shelter and clothes.
@nufoundglory (1353)

But you still can't buy much of those if you just rely on myLot for around 10 to 30 bucks a month. Some foods, yeah. But shelter, clothes? Is blogging about making money will really help you in making money yourself..?

People talk about earning online because oftenly their job/ our jobs could not compensate with our financial requirements, majority hopes for an extra earning after work which is accessable on the net without leaving home..

But just how much could you make online for this "some extra bucks", if it is for paying your bills or other crucial needs like that?

No, topics haven't run out. I've noticed this trend too lately, and the answer I've come up with is that people like money. They want money. They crave money, and will do whatever it takes (within reason) to get it.
As do I. =)
Referrals = Money.
Visitors = Referrals.
Blogs = Visitors.
So Making Money Online Blogs = Money.
Or at least that's what I've been able to figure.
I dabble in all these money-making things myself, but I care about my blog visitors too much to sing the praises of something that may or may not be a scam, all the while subliminally inserting my referral link in there in hopes to make a few bucks off them.
But then again that's just me. To each his own I guess.
