This Makes Me Mad, Of What I Seen Happen ! Today

lol..im mad again.i was driveing,comeing back from a my grandson birthday party.there was a white suv in front of me.an i seen a cat running from down a hill.so i slowed down.knowing that the cat was going to run out in the road.but the stupid suv driver ran over the cat.an the driver had plenty of time to slow down or stop to keep from running over the cat.i think he ran over the cat on purpose.i stopped an pulled over the side of the road to check on the cat.its little legs were still kicking.but it died as i was trying to help it.a man came out of a house an went an got a shovel to pick up the cat,he said he would bury it.so i left crying knowing the cat had died.an i was so mad at the suv driver.i was wondering why people dont slow down when they see an animal going to run out in the street.an why do they run over them for the fun of it.an why do they not stop knowing when they have hit an animal?

I think a lot of people just don't think of an animals life as being that important and get some kind of kick out of killing them.
I have hit a cat once, I was turning a corner and it ran out as I swung round and I didn't have time to stop before I hit it. I stopped to see if it was ok and it got up and ran away so there wasn't anything I could do, but hopefully it ran home to be safe.

Oh that is so sad. and your post made me cry. One of my cats was run over and killed last year, and I still cry every time I think of him. I guess some people are just plain evil, and one day I hope they will suffer for their deeds. My only consolation with my baby Caspar is that I know it wasn't done on purpose - the lady who lives nearby, and saw it happen, said Caspar ran out, and the driver had no chance, - it was dark, and he didn't even know he had hit anything. Thanks for trying to help the little cat though - as a cat lover, I know what it is like to lose an animal, and I was very grateful to the lady who tried to help my Caspar.

im sorry you lost your cat,i love cats,they are my favorite animals. i wanted to help this cat so bad,but it was to late.this driver could have stopped we were only going 20 per hour or less.i hope this driver thinks about wht he had done to this cat.

Sadly I don't think the driver will care, or he would have taken more care to avoid the poor cat in the first place. Guess he is just a bad peson, and I am a firm believer in Karma, so he will get hs just deserts! Try not to be too upset by what you saw - you did your best.

The driver probably didn't see the cat until it was too late. I know when I was being taught how to drive through drivers ed I was told to never slam on my brakes if an animal crossed in front of my car because the animal was going to do less damage to my car than someone rear ending me.

Yes it sounds like he meant to run over the cat seeing he had time to stop. These kind of people do not have any feeling towards animals and that is the reason they do not stop, or try to swerve the other way to miss the animals, the poor cat, no wonder so many animals are scared of us that do not know us and wonder if we are going to harm them.

I once owned a little Yokshire Terrier and someone did the same thing to him right in front of my house. He had bolted out the door when I opened it. And before I could get hold of him into the street. The car just kept right on going. I think there are some very coldhearted people out there.

It is against the law to slow or swerve to hit an animal in my state. I think its ridiculous. Certain people are evil, and If they did hit that cat on purpose than they aare just that.

What a sin , thats so terrible . Some people don`t have a heart , they just don`t think about the Owner of the animal at all . I think its just GROSSE , how some that this parson just left it for the Owner to deal with it .
It`s bad enough they had just seen a loved one die .
I just don`t get it , what`s wrong with these people ?

I am sorry you had to see such an awful thing. Unfortunatly People just do not care anymore and it hurts me to. I always slow down when I see a cat or dog even if there is no sign of them running on the Road you just never know. The thing that I do not understand here in the UK it is law that you stop when you hit a Dog but not when you hit a cat and I don't know why. My Sons Dog got hit by a car and fortunatly she was only bruised but the Driver just carried on and as his Fiancee was more concerned about the poor Dog (which I would have been to) she did not get the Registration Number. People just do not care anymore and it is sad.

thank you gabs8513,like you i always slow down or stop for an animal.no matter what it is.your laws in the uk dont make sence they should have the same laws for each animal it ashame you didnt get the drive reg.number to report them.but i know it hard to do that when they just drive away..thank god your sons dog was only bruise.its sad when i hear about a dog getting hit

Yes it is, but we where just so happy that she was ok. The thing is she managed to get out the back Garden as she is always on the lead normally and of course she saw my Sons Fiancee at the Bustop and went to go to her. So now till my Son manages to fix the Fence she is not allowed in the Garden.

How sad and terrible for you to have watched it die. I know there are sick people who run them over intentionally and I hope they get their punishment someway, somehow.

That is so messed up. Some people just don't give a d--mn. People need to realize that a life is a life regardless if it's a man or a cat.

That is really horrible, but here is a possibility. I don't know how close you were behind the SUV but if you saw this you had to have been somewhat close. Not saying you were tailgating..but yeah. It probably wouldn't have been safe for them to slam on the brakes because they were worried about the person behind them running into them. This is just a thought...but I'm sorry you had to witness that. That sounds really sad!

Man that had to be terrible for you classy! Some people are really insensitive, they don't care about anything but themselves, and don't even are thoughtful enough to slow down a bit and let the cat pass....I understand that you feel frustrated about what happened to that poor cat.

My goodness! I hate when I see animals get hit by cars! It always makes me cry.
Sometimes people aren't paying attention when things like this happen. It sucks really bad, yes, but it happens. Doesn't make it any easier. I always think, "that was someone's pet...that was someone's baby." It makes me sad just thinking about it.

Ohh that makes me soo mad and sad at the same time!! I used t date a jerk that hated cats and he would slam on the gas to hit them if they were near the road..we fought constantly about it..thats one of the reasons i left,,And i think your truley a wonderful person for trying to help that poor cat..i have cats and they are like kids to me,,Ionce hit a dog when i was coming home once..it was a blizard and i couldnt see..and he came out of no where! I slammed on the breaks and slipped everywhere draggin him..I got out of the car and was crying so bad i coudlnt see..a truck came behind me and he saw how upset i was and i had my son with me,.i wanted to find the home..and sky was upset as me..so the nice man took the dog and assured me he would knock on everyones house till he found it..well i am pleased to say the dog suffered a broken leg..and other small injuries..and he is ok now..:)

thank you."o my" you poor thing.you did the right thing with the dog.i would have been upset to.this breaks my heart you are a kind person also.good thing you got rid of your bf sounds like he was a jerk.i hope you never have to experiance this again.sounds like the guy in the truck was your angel in a time of need..

that is so sad made me cry, i wishu took his number plate down and reported the driver to the rspca or to the police that so bad the poor little thing, if i was their i would of followed the bloke and when he stoped to get out of his car i would o smacked him one right in the mouth, this guy will get coming to him the cat will hant him forever, the wicked man, needs a dam good kicking

I find this a sad reality of life, but it makes me so angry. That cat was someone's pet and a cherished family member. It really makes me angry that someone would have so little respect for another's life, regardless of whether it's an animal or a human.
You can guarantee that if that cat had been their child, they'd have been screaming for justice.
I feel for the people that have lost their cat today at the hands of that idiot out there today. What a terrible thing to happen.
