ok now i know this is weird but i have a cat who seems to be confused. he eats with his hands he scoops the food up and brings it to his mouth. and he even has taken over my side of the bed. i got him a comfortable cat bed and he never used it he choosed exactly where i lay my body down. and if you dare move him he'll sit there n stare at you like your crazy and i swear he rolled his eyes at me.lol

This seems like pretty normal behavior to me. Both of our cats think they are human and do similiar things to what you describe.

Yes cats are very smart creatures and they tend to be animals that claim there territories to there preferences.... My cuz had a cat that would open the cupboard and get it's own food there smart animals that like thing's there own way with no change but are also a great companion....

That is the first I have heard of a pet that eats with his hands. I wonder if it will get on my nerve more if the pet was more like me or untamed. I am curious, does he know how to flush to toilet?

lol no but i should teach him that.. make my life much easier and i wont have to clean litter boxes. the cat is my husband's he had him way before he met me and when i seen the cat pick up the food with the paw..i was like what the? its cute tho. and i also have another cat who's main thing he likes to do is knock stuff over..especially cups he wont just walk past n bump it, he would actually lift his paw n swat at the cup until it falls over and i know he knows what he's doing to last night i woke up to find him trying to get on the nightstand and saw him hitting my cup of water but i stopped him before he spilled it.

That's too cute!!! I've never seen a cat scoop food with his hands, but my boyfriends and my cats both take over our beds where we are going to lad. They do the same thing if we try to move them. I'll have to upload some cat pictures!

hihi yes sometimes they are the boss in the house!
i know one of my cats does the same sometimes, most of the times he feels in the waterbowl if there is water in it!
if they can they all lay in my bed, but i close the door because there is not enough room for three big cats and two adults!

LOL Your cat is funny. My cats would never use a cat bed, they prefer my bed. And when you get up from a chair, one of them is sure to jump up and act like he's been sitting there for hours.

Good Post. Actually THEY think we are alien and weird, :)
The cat is not at all confused, just resourceful beyond the comprehension of most humans. You should be empathically honored that a cat wants to sleep close, but I promise you it's only a tease, meant to confuse you, smile.
One of my fave performances of all time,in any medium is A.L.W. production, "Cats" If anyone gets the metaphors and analogies, then they have come one step closer to understanding one of the most unique animals on the planet.
