for me it is very hard to work as i have a disabled son who i care for almost 24 hours a day so i could not go and work if i wanted to because no employer would give me the flexibility i would need, can you imagine someone saying yes of course if you are needed you can just get up and go and if you are unable to come back in to work for the next few days thats okay? if they would i would be over the moon because i owuld like to work but my little guy comes first and he needs me around so i will be.

Well what does everyone else think? This is an old discussion of which I am aware but with a lot of copies of discussions I felt it'd be a good idea to rejuvenate some of the older ones. I'm going to make a discussion of links to discussions I find, this being one of those discussions. I hope more people will respond. In any case, right now we I am online making money just to pay for my fiance and my wedding. We're saving a great deal and even though I'm stressed I know I shouldn't be. We've got the money and if we don't, my fiance parents have our back on that!
I hope that we don't struggle after the wedding to make money etc, but if we do that's okay too. It's all about learning. I also hope we can save to be leisurely in the future.

I am working hard, but my ends keep falling short of meeting. Maybe one day it won't be this way.

I am working very hard to make ends me. Right now I am working two jobs (one full time and one part time)and currently am able to live fairly comfortable. It is hard though, because when I only worked one job I didn't make enough money to support myself and live comfortably. Now that I am working two jobs, I have more money to support myself and live comfortably but I do not have any time to enjoy the money or the fruits of my effort. It is kind of a catch 22. I guess it will pay off one day.

We do work hard but we do struggle. I mean we have everything we need and a lot of things we want but it does take some creative financing from me in order to pay bills each month.
Right now it is just getting worse because my husband just switched jobs and is making $500 less per month. He was really unhappy at his other job and we talked about it in length but int he end his happiness, which affects our happiness is what is most important.
Luckily we got enough of a tax return to buy us atleast 2 months which gives time to figure out how to come up with the extra money needed.
We do struggle but we always remain positive and we always figure out how to make things work.

Life has given us a few rough bumps in the road. So yes we are working hard to make ends meet. It has taken a while and I know see the light at the end of the tunnel, and then we can work more for pleasure.

I don't work, I'm at home with my kids. Luckily I am in a good financial situation due to having good maintenacne payments and some help from the government here.
I am still trying to save some of money though as things often crop up that you don't expect, plus I have no savings for later life yet.
