What's your favorite cold leftover?

There are some foods that are great, piping hot and fresh....but also have huge draw the next morning, cold straight from the fridge.
Some of my favorites are cold pizza, cold chinese food (especially noodles), and cold quesadillas.....
I really like when the the melted cheese in the pizza and quesadilla is solid. Something about the consistancy when you bite into it just makes me want to eat more. Plus, when they are cold, these things don't seem as greasy, so I can trick myself into thinking they aren't too bad for me :-)
So what are some of your favortie straight from the fridge, next morning leftovers? And why?

I like the pizza and quesadillas, too. Now, not the Chinese food, though. YUCK LOL
I also like pot roast cold as long as it's very lean...no fat on the edge or anything.

I prefer baked potatoes. I like when the oil is left on them and all the essence that potaoes have are mixed and become one with the oil.

Cold potatoes are good. I like german potatoe salad, which is basicaly cold cooked potatoes, oil and vinegar. It's really good.

Yeah, I think the flavors get to mingle together a little longer. I actualyl perfer my own home made pizza to store bought too. Althoguh my local pizza place makes some interesting pies that I don't think I would tackle.

this is funny, i love leftovers but I don't like them cold. my boyfriend is a sucker for cold leftovers, like pizza, spagetti and chinese food. On the other hand, I have to heat up leftovers or they don't taste good to me otherwise. My favorite leftovers are usually pizza and chinese or thai food. I also love leftover taco stuffing, which actually tastes really good when put into a mexican type of omelet.

I love cold leftover liguini with clams. I know it sounds gross, but I love it. I also really like cold leftover chinese food, especially chicken wings. Leftover cold fried chicken is always pretty good too.

My sister likes leftover linguini and clam sauce too! My mom makes it really good. It was tradition ot fight over the cold leftover xmas morning. I like cold friend shrimp like that too.

LOL! How funny. There are very few things that I won't eat cold. In fact, since I bring bento lunches to work, I am quite used to and fond of room temperature food.

I think cold ham is pretty nice. In fact, sometimes we leave the cooked rice overnight too - deliberately. Because this is one way of cooking nice "fried rice". ;-)

yes! that is one dish I actually plan in advance. Fried rice always calls for cold cooked rice! 40 minutes to cook my rice another 2 hours to chill. I am not that patient, so when I make rice I plan on making too much - so the leftovers can be used for fried rice, one of our favorites.

Leftover chicken (or turkey) and stuffing in really good in a sandwich with some cranberry too. Mmmmm!

i like lasagna when eaten the next day cold as the cream filling or cheese in it be very sticky already & the flavor been absorb very well to the pasta . ham & bologna salad is great also when cold from fridge after a day of preparation .

I also like cold lo mein. I like it when it's cold because it's not as greasy as it is when it is heated up.

I'm with you I really like cold pizza. I can eat it any time of the day. I also love cold fried chicken right out of the frig.,especially if it is extra crispy. Macaroni and cheese is also good cold, but I usually want extra salt and pepper with it.

Sausages!!! I love, love love cold sausages, oh, and cold chicken too. In fact i think sometimes they can both taste nicer than when they were hot! Cold sausages sarnies are just delicious, and cold chicken sarnies with fresh tomato in are yummy too, especially the ones my mum does!

i like pizza and French fries leftovers, i can eats it right out of the fridge and it tastes really good, it's not just to conserve on food, i actually like it and would leave some on purpose to eat next day :)

i love chicken leftovers and sometimes i like chowmeins too..You can jus mix both together n stuff them in a sandwich tht taste realy good.n i even i like to eat the toppins of leftover pizza...
