Mother pleads guilty to using baby as a weapon

I read about this shortly after it happened and was sick. I am glad to see this update and that she is pleading guilty. Nobody, let me say that again, NOBODY has the right to hurt or abuse children, especially a totally defenseless four week old. I hope the cow gets the full jail term. And if you say it was a crime of passion or that she was mentally unhinged or any other cop out plea, then she should spend the entire time in a mental institution. And no, I don't think she should keep her kids. She has already proven, by endangering her infant's life, that she is an unfit mother.

This is really bad man , how could a mother use the baby as a weapon .... It is really inhuman , i think end of the world is around the corner if such cases keep popping up

Some people just don't use the brains God gave them!! She should not be able to keep her kids and she shouldn't be out on the streets. There had to be other things she could find to defend herself. I could never use my child, knowing I could kill them, I would die first.

Well that's just repulsive. There must be more to the story than the news is telling. I mean obviously the baby was hurt and that alone is sick. But I can hardly imagine grabbing an infant by the legs and using it as a weapon. I mean wouldn't protecting the baby be instinct?? And what about this previous lawyer it mentions. I hope the truth comes out and whoever is responsible pays dearly for hurting the poor thing. And why is the mother beat up looking? Did I miss something it said about that? Something just isn't right about the story or lack of it. But I hope the baby is okay and the truth known.

Why didnt she just use her hands?I think this mother doenst have any love for her baby,imagine another situation wherea wild dog attacks the mother and she'll probably trow the baby to the dog to protect herself

It's easy for us to hurl insults and accusations at that woman but no one really knows the situation. Whatever drove her to do such a thoughtless act, we can never tell. I am not sure whether to be angry at her or feel sorry for her. I dont even know what she is going through right now. Dont get me wrong - I love children and dont want to see them hurt or abused. However, I believe in mercy as well. I hope justice prevails, whichever way it goes!

There is no doubt in my mind that there are very messed up people in this world.Take that kid away from her!And for th elove of god take some Karate lessons or something.

OMG this is the most ridiculous of I have heard for a very long time.Selling babies,killing babies is very commonly heard but using kid as a cricket bat.It is very very shameful actually,the woman should be punished severely for this.

This is unbelievable. Each day the news gets more bazar. I think that the womens kids should be taken away from her, and that she should go to jail. And also get some counsiling.

that woman is mentally incapacitated. I don't even know if she knew the difference between a baby and a doll. No doubt during the trial she will have to pass a psychiatric examination. These kinds of stories make me ill.

Yes i read it,i think she need to go ordered a psychological examination for Graham before her sentencing,if her soul is disturbed cause of the soul desease so she can not judgement but i agree if she is normal and the judge charges carry a minimum of five years in prison because the child was under age 12. Two lesser charges were dropped. Graham's previous attorney had said Graham did not use her child as a weapon, that the boy was hurt during a fight between the two adults and that Graham lied to authorities about how the injury occurred to protect her boyfriend. Her current attorney, public defender Julia Dudics, however, said Tuesday that the choice to plead guilty was Graham's. Dudics declined further comment except to say that Graham had told her she was depressed. Jarron, who made a full recovery, and Graham's four other children are currently in the custody of her parents.

i would classify it as child abuse because she used the child ..like swung her child. But she might get away if she pleads sudden insanity or something -i dunno-but it might work if she says she was overstressed and culdn't control herself so she used her baby as a weapon. But i wouldn't be sauprised if she got charged alot. Although, if she DID get charged, where does the fine go, to the government? or to the baby- which in turn is to the mother because the mother controls her babys savinguntil the baby is 18+ age. So is she giving herself a fine or to the government?

They ought to throw her in jail and throw the key away. Children are put here for us to nurture and protect. She was more concerned about herself than the baby. A baby as a bat. What kind of mother would do that. I don't think she should be allowed to keep her kids. What next would she think of doing.

Hello there. First of all is the child ok? I mean after that fractured skull, is he ok? Anyway, I am a soon to be mother (2 more months to go!)and I just find this news sooo horrible. I've always been very careful to a point of being paranoid when it comes to my health and my son's. This woman should not be allowed to hold another innocent child again! She doesn't deserve to be a mother whether or not she is just covering up for her bf or if she really did that to her child. She is unfit to be a mom!

OMG! i just cannot believe this! WTF is wrong with that woman? She definitely does NOT deserve to eep her children. She needs to be put in jail for child abuse and child endangerment at least. Her children need to either go to a relative (like grandparents) or need to be put up for adoption. There is NO excuse for what this "mother" did. As far as i am concerned, she is a "birthgiver" and not a "mother."

thats cruel and gruesome of mother doing that with her own baby. but since shes done that as a result of some fight with her boyfriend there seems to be very stong reason which hasnt been disclosed in the news at that link otherwise any mother woundlt go to that extent. now since has pleaded guilty she needs to be rehabilitated and till such time her kids should be handed over to some caretaker. rest to actually find the reason behind what led the woman to go to such an extent of doing inhumanly act.

This almost defies belief. Who in their right mind would ever use their child as a weapon in a fight for Gods sake?? And a 4 week old baby at that!! This is staggering news to say the least, but at least she's accepted that she did it and has decided to plead guilty. I hate those cases where they deny committing a crime and make it go all the way to trial. Looking at her face I'd say she was being abused for some time by her boyfriend, but it doesn't excuse her actions. She deserves the maximum sentence for what she did.

World is going insane. Every day there's a sick story about real life situations. How come? And it's getting worse every year. I can`t understand those sick people who go to school with a weapon and shoot everyone. I can`t understand families like this one, how this mother is allowed to raise children? ... Those stories are examples what we should not do - even if we`re angry in rage, we should calm down because most of those situacions happen when we can`t control ourselves.

My GAWD! that is sick! is she mad! what about the bf. did he do something to protect the baby. i sure hope that baby is ok. babies are such a innocent & defenceless creatures. they always turn out to be the easier target & becoming victims resulted in bad marriages/relationships, or other serious negative consequences from all sorts of crazy people around.
