I joined mylot a few months ago when I wasn't that much active but now i answer and also start disscussions but Idont know that what are my rating right now I see some numbers like (64) after my name but dont know whether its my ratings or what I have also seen people with the star of red colour and marked 9 which I think is rating please if you can help me tell me mine so that I can become more active user of mylot.

the number next to your username is your number of post (and i think discussions, i havent started a discussion since i joined). anyways, you get your ratings once you reach up to 100 post, the number next to your username.

Your ratings wil be shown to you after you complete your 100 responces.
and the numbers u see in bracket beside your nick are the numbers of your responces to which u respond.
The ratings are shown in star at left top of your nick.

i would also love to ask this question so im just ridin on this thread, is there any significance to the color of the star? like gold is higher than silver? can someone please show the "ranking for each color and from the number 1-9 which is the highest. like is 9 better than 1?

the number in the brackets are the totaal number of responses you have made

Posting a comment does not count in the number next to your name, only response to discussions would be counted. it is the same for discussions started by you or any others discussion. Posting a comment encourages your friends to post more in your discussions and get rated and is a good way to promote your discussion as and when you post a comment your discussion would become alive and will be seen on the home page as a active discussion.
